I doubt that could be official in any way, even the most ardent Arsenal fan would have to question why any decent player would want to move to their club at the moment let alone someone as valuable as Ndidi. Adding Xhaka to the deal would be rather like finding a bad joke in a cheap Christmas cracker. He'd be more of a liability than a welcome addition, in any case, we already have a better player in Choudhury.Â
foxes_rule1978 Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 (edited) Xhaka  good to know people still have a sense of humour Edited 21 December 2019 by foxes_rule1978 1 1
Popular Post foxfanazer Posted 21 December 2019 Popular Post Posted 21 December 2019 So they value Xhaka at £100m then? 5
wattolcfc Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 I honestly believe we are now at a crossroads. For the first time in my life I believe our players would see it as a step down to join Arsenal. The other "top 6" clubs probably have a chance but not Arsenal.
mozartfox Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 'If' this a suggestion from their new coach, then I do worry for Arsenal.  The men in white coats will be making an appearance at Emirates very soon.
willie-bell-in-rothley Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 Brendan on sky said no first team player would be leaving in this window, so for me thats the end of any speculation threads 3
majaco Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 Thank you for your thoughts, Arsenal. No. We're Leicester City.

Stoopid Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 It's £35 million for Wilf, but they'll give us £40 mil if we take Xhaka off their hands too...

Nalis Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 (edited) Cant believe I'm giving this airtime but what even is Read Arsenal anyway? Edited 21 December 2019 by Nalis
st albans fox Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 Even the gooners in my office found this funny yesterday......... they are a miserable lot at the moment aswell ... 1
ithuriel Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 I just wonder why the peeps who make this stuff up can not fathom what the term, not selling, actually means and for a paltry amount to a team languishing below them. If it is real, it is hilarious though and shows a massive delusion on their part.
Stuntman_Mike Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 This whole devaluing players by the 'big clubs' just because they're from a 'smaller club' needs to stop.  Pay what they're worth or **** off.  (and in this case they won't leave cus this big club is shite)Â

Suggesting Leicester would be interested in selling a player like Ndidi for £40m plus a complete joker is so far beyond anything credible that no-one will take it seriously.
Dorkingfox Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 The other side of the story  Allnigeriasoccer.com has been told that Wilfred Ndidi has no intention of quitting Leicester City in the January transfer window amid rumours liking the central midfielder with a move to Arsenal. It is confirmed that Leicester City have yet to receive an offer from the Gunners for the Nigeria international. Besides, The Foxes are not willing to entertain offers for one of their key players as they aim to qualify for the Champions League next season. Signed from Racing Genk in January 2017 for a fee of 15 million pounds, Ndidi is now worth over £60 million. Since the beginning of the 2017-2018 season, no player in the Premier League has made more tackles than the Leicester City number 25. Despite his his no-nonsense approach in controlling the midfield, he has never been suspended for a Premier League match since April 2018. After the 2018 World Cup, Ndidi inked a new new multiyear contract that will keep him at the King Power Stadium outfit until the end of the 2023-2024 season. Ifeanyi Emmanuel Â
