Fair play Macron stuck his head on the block tonight. No rent, no electric bill, no gas bill payments.

Its what the UK should and probably will have to do. Basically have to be the economic ICU

How does that work ?

I have a rental property - I’m happy to tell my tenant to have a payment holiday but will I be able to get a mortgage holiday without it affecting my credit status?

gas, electric ...... who will cover the money here ? These are private companies ..........

as a business, if we have to close down for a few weeks, the govt will still want business rates paid and my landlord his rent .....if I don’t pay that then how will his property company remain afloat - I’m sure they have their lenders to pay .........

my biggest cost is staff ...there is a limit to what I can afford to pay without any income ..... but my staff have bills or pay ...... it’s going to be  tragic all round .......

Yeah, but panic buyers never think they are panic buying. They panic buy only because others panic buy.

It's the same people who worship black Friday, get pissed at new year and attend jogging clubs

Okay you have lost me now 🤔

My ex was telling me yesterday that nurses and hcas were refusing/reluctant to work in the glenfield 'dirty' wards (dirty being the work word for the suspected Corona inmates, kept separate from the rest)

Such a shame - kids allowed to go to school but can’t play football against other kids ???

Yes this is the point I'm trying to make to my daughter's club coach who has cancelled training. I guess he's just following orders, but I really can't see the logic in it, especially when outdoor exercise is supposed to be a good thing atm, and she spends all day at school with many of the girls in her team

Was there something in the budget (or just after) about help with business rates? I'm sure I heard they're being suspended for 6 months or something?

Why do muppets need 200 bog rolls under their bed along with pasta and eggs?

Same reason they 'need' a 52inch plasma, Amazon prime and an all inclusive in fueteventura.

They don't.

This shines an unflattering light on the present government strategy

My housemate's girlfriend (who spends all her time at my house even when he isn't around) has got a fever and apparently so does everyone in her office, plus I've just had a week off which means I've spent all last week at home and come into contact with her far more often than I normally would. :sweating:  They've apparently been blitzing the dettol today but neither of them are the most hygienic people so there's a very good chance that if there's anything for me to catch then I've already come into contact with it from the daily struggle to make enough usable clean space in the kitchen.  Oh well, shit happens.

For property valuations below 51k - mainly small shops/ cafes

We have now introduced countrywide social distancing in advance of other countries in that graph - so whilst we watch the numbers of fatalities increase exponentially as they undoubtedly will, we will be able to compare and contrast .....

Jeez you sound like one of the soccer mums giving me grief on our Whats App group lol

We've just postponed everything on the FA's advice and straight away I got messages saying:

"What about organizing some friendlies for them instead?"

"What about training - why can't that go ahead?"

"Can you provide them some on-line coaching?" (FFS)

"What about the subs we paid at the start of the year, do we get a refund?" (No, fvck off)

Serious question, is the reason we are seeing more deaths in the time scale in the UK, compared to the rest of the world due to us having better medical care and us looking after out people with underlying health problems better?

Looking at that graph, the vertical scale is logarithmic, not linear. So even if the lines are curving down, the rates themselves aren't. This country should be in complete lock-down right now, no ifs, no buts.

Yep, that's me 😊 Although online coaching and a refund of subs hadn't crossed my mind, I'll ask my daughter's coach, thanks lol
