I wouldn't look at this guy as our winger purchase. More as a player to give competition to Maddison, Praet, and Tielemans. Serious competition.

We have a lot of matches coming next year and we need depth. Love the direct running of this guy. Puts packed defenses under pressure and has the confidence and ability to one touch pass and shoot.

Have never seen him play and tube highlights can be embarassingly misleading but

what stood out for me was his fantastic balance.

Im sure lots of teams covet him.

Agree. I watched it again and noticed how good he is at keeping his head up or awareness of what's going on around him while he's dribbling.

Reminded me of another player with great balance. Raheem Sterling.

It all sounds great, but if Brentford get promoted I doubt they'll sell.

yeah sounds it. More Money, New training facility, Champions League, Bigger club, Brendan Rogers as a coach. yeah i think he will stay at Brentford next season...

He's a very good player, and 15-20m is a fair price for a player with his talent.

However, we will be playing European football next season so I feel we should be looking to sign players who have been playing at a higher level with experience of European football as that will improve us rather than give us depth. Wouldn't be unhappy to see him arrive here though. Someone from the Premier League will get him if Brentford don't come up and I feel he will be similar to Maupay who went to Brighton who has looked pretty decent in his first season.

Seen him a few times for Brentford. He's got some genuine skills, really impressive.

Any idea if we have made any serious approach or are we just one of many watching him. From reading this thread, the guys sounds like just the type of player we should be buying.

How to sound like a Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea fan in one easy lesson.

We all complain when the media and fans of bigger clubs say the same about Maddison et al.

Irony is lost in this part of the Internet lol

... its Brentford.

Last time they were in top division was 92/93 season.

The longest spell in top division was between 1935/39.

I stand by my 'big club attitude on this one' If it was Nottingham Forest/Derby etc then i would agree.
