Experienced, can play anywhere in midfield and on the wings, I'd take him as a squad player if the price was right for sure.

Turns 32 this Summer, he is in the twilight of his career !!  Not too sure why we would be interested .

Exactly and has had serious injuries as well. No way could he play now in a high energy Rodgers team that presses and plays end to end football.

If he could then Klopp would keep him and give him one or two year contracts until he couldn't produce anymore.

This is agent talk same as Sturridge in the summer. Love Lallana but not here. Rather see us take the money and spend it on Samba Boy(Benrahma)

HOW ???

32 years old & injury prone.

If he improves our squad we have problems.

This is my view fwiw

but we do need some experience in midfield ...... whilst he would be ‘free’, there is bound to be a chunky s/o fee and big wage ..... I suspect he would want a four year deal ..... that’s to 36 y o ...... I would spend 20m on him over that 4 years but I can’t see that being enough ..

on the usual basis that we only sign players that scored against us he is a shoe in !

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers leads four-club chase for Adam Lallana

Leicester City are among several leading Premier League clubs with an interest in signing Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana when his contract ends this summer.

A queue is forming for Lallana as he prepares to leave Anfield on a Bosman deal, with Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and West Ham also monitoring developments ahead of his likely exit as there is no sign of an extension to his Liverpool deal.

Lallana’s previous working relationship with Brendan Rodgers, the attractive style of football at the King Power Stadium, and the increasing possibility of Champions League football makes Leicester a realistic contender for his signature.

No formal discussions have yet taken place with Lallana remaining focused on Liverpool’s trophy ambitions, and interested clubs recognising their final league positions could be critical in determining how attractive they are for a player of such pedigree. Lallana will have his pick of clubs nearer the top of the Premier League by the time he makes a decision.

He is free to open negotiations and sign a pre-contract agreement with overseas clubs should he wish, but is sure to bide his team to ensure there are no distractions with his club still pursuing three trophies. He will remain a key part of Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp’s plans for the rest of the season, despite the understanding he is entering the final phase of his Anfield career.

Klopp made it clear he would not sanction an early sale of Lallana in January, despite the loss of a transfer fee.

He’d improve the squad/bench in terms of depth and hugely experienced having played at every level but he’s not been able to get into a Liverpool side really in the past 3 years and has had numerous injuries. He’s also what 30-31 now and would want wages to rival our top earners...

It’s a no from me.

A thousand times no.

Por que? On a free, talented, English, an experienced midfielder who may help to remove the fragility of our young players in big games.... What's not to like?

Oh wait... he's not a communist is he?

Personally I don't give a rodents bottom about wages, not my concern, its the quality of the team I'm interested in and Lallana would be an asset who would improve under BR.

IMHO.

Not being able to get in *that* Liverpool team hardly makes someone a bad player.

If the money's ok, why not?

As far as not being able to get into the present Liverpool side goes, there are possibly 5 players in the world who would!! Possibly.

Its not like he can't get in Spurs, Arsenal or United's dross!

Mate he wouldn’t get in any of those teams first eleven

Blue Scouser alert  (go on admit it , they are your 2nd team 🤣

Not good enough for Liverpool doesn’t mean he’s shyte.  Used part-time he could potentially be very effective for us,  He has a skill set our roster currently lacks and experience at every level.  As long as the wages were relatively sane and he wasn’t looking at a 4 year deal I’d consider a punt on him.

Sooner have Shaqiri, though...

English = no language problems (not been up there long enough to develop them), used to the prem style, no family abroad, used to sh*t weather, got friends here.. Etc... Etc... Its a bonus that is widely recognised by scouts just as its a bonus to be an Italian player in Italy or a Spanish player in Spain.

BTW if your gonna quote me somebum, quote what I wrote and how I wrote it please without highlighting words of your choice to try to make some point.

That's called editing.

Some good free transfers available. We should be looking to bolster the squad with a few. A few experienced heads would be great.

Cavani 😝

So when a Man U fan says.........

It's Leicester.

They have only won the league once since the 90's and have been a yo-yo club in that time,  you still happy with that big club attitude?

yes.

He's crap, enormously over rated player when he is fit which is barely ever.

He's not in a position we need at all and we've got our quota of attacking mids who jump on the floor at every touch in Madders, don't need that diving, cheating cvnt as well.

So you rate him then? 🙄
