Aus Fox Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 A thousand time last yes... The perfect signing for us next season - free Champions League experience, can play out wide. A fit Lallana would be a quality signing, can’t see why anyone is saying no.
Winchesterfox Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 Not sure we need another midfielder who can pass but not tackle.
Realjimbo Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 Lallana is an often used sub at possibly the best team in the world ATM, to anyone dismissing him ask yourselves would Perez, Barnes, Albrighton, Praet or Gray get on that bench? I think we know the answer.
Pliskin Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 This was always going to happen. He is actually a quality player, like any player depends how he is being managed.

lcfc sheff Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 He’ll be going back to Southampton for definite

TheSomersetFox Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 Unbelievably good business if we get him in for free.
North Leeds Fox Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 If we want to bring in a couple of big signings elsewhere, it seems a sensible move. Players like him and fraser will be in demand as it allows clubs to then go and spend a bit more in other areas while improving squad depth. Just have to hope the wages are reasonable.
Raw Dykes Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 I doubt we're really in for him. Sicknote, huge wages, twilight years, step down. Doesn't seem at all like a Leicester type of signing to me.
CosbehFox Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 To assist a squad in an European season, absolutely
Stuntman_Mike Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 If he passed the necessary fitness tests and the wages weren't drastic he'd be great addition to the squad for a season or two.
lee7 Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 I've always rated Lallana Quality with both feet and can pick a pass from nowhere.
RowlattsFox Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 I've always felt this was something that was going to happen. On a reasonable wage I think it would be ok, definitely brings some experience and improves our depth. He's not the signing that is going to take us to next level though.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 Could be the experience we need going into a European campaign next year. Likewise could be a sicknote and never get any games. This one could go either way, but if we got him I would be content.
Poznan34 Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 West Ham signing. Over the hill, injury prone, will want big wages. Next

Used part-time he could potentially be very effective for us, He has a skill set our roster currently lacks and experience at every level. As long as the wages were relatively sane and he wasn’t looking at a 4 year deal I’d consider a punt on him. Sooner have Shaqiri, though... Why would you want that poison dwarf, show pony?

EverybodyDannsNow Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 Would be a great signing on a free if the wages were reasonable. For someone to come in and rotate with Tielemans and Maddison, with Champions League and Premier League experience, you couldn’t really find a better fit.
RonnieTodger Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 If he's on a free and on a moderate wage, then fairs but it goes against what we've built so far. I do think we need more depth in that area.

Nick Posted 7 February 2020 Posted 7 February 2020 Willian and Fraser both gonna get snapped up - can’t see Willian not going to Spain but Fraser on a free would be smart.
