I think us playing a lot on a Sunday is more down to our participation in the Europa League on a Thursday night rather than TV companies dictating. 1

I don't want to see it but can see Chilwell being in a similar position to Drinkwater. Tunchel obviously isn't a massive fan / he doesnt fit their new system and 190k a week to play the odd cup game is a hell of a lot.

I get that he was heavily linked with Bayern but how are Chelsea giving a 20 year old with a handful of Premier League games such a big contract.

The club's have huge revenues, based on their global appeal and technology allowing them to broadcast globally. How do clubs compete? The players that are on the pitch therefore their salaries are always going to increase as revenues increase. In free business I don't see how anyone can expect it to be any different. It will only change if people suddenly become no longer interested in football which isn't going to happen.
