Very little has been said in the media about our injury crisis. Imagine if Liverpool or Man City were missing so many key players? God, we had 2 weeks of media mourning for the injury of one player (VVD) when it happened to them.

Tbh they have mentioned it a bit and probably would have mentioned it a lot more if we weren’t ...   top of the league ! ...  which sort of makes it less of an issue.   Testament to our squad.

We've got some great momentum going now, let's hope the international break doesn't halt that momentum and we can get stronger and stronger as we gradually get more players back from injury

Glad to say I know bugger all about football management. In the LCFC drinking game of doom I must have said most things: We've no strength in depth - check; We're screwed without Vardy - check; Rogers doesn't know how to support the mental strength of the team - check.  This team, this SQUAD (!!!), continues to astound me! Rogers, the team, the players, everyone has been incredible! I'm often left open mouthed in pleasant shock at what I'm witnessing! 

 

I'm still reeling from the Liverpool and Man City games last Christmas - but I hope the team continues to prove me wrong...
