I get that SWFC owner is culpable but I can't stand these old farts like Jeff Stelling and Richard Keys who constantly defend their mates. Pulis is a dinosaur and shouldn't be hired in the top 2 divisions.

Kept Palace up more than comfortably after Holloway left them in the shite didn't he?

That's off the top of my head, but he must have had some reasonable success when he was carving out a career in the 90s, surely.

He got Gillingham promoted in the lower leagues, was their manager when they lost to Man City in the play-off final too.

So Nige to Sheffield Wednesday, get them on an even keel for a year then the prodigal son to return at the end of his career?

Quite the finish for JV’s blockbuster movie.....

No chance. Unfortunately their Thai owner has had enough. When he tried to invest he was punished by FFP. Now he’s scared to invest so fell out with Pulis. 
 

Also two months late on wages....

He'll be gone soon as well.

 

The goalie has made about 4 mistakes in the last few games and he was pretty good for Cardiff.

 

Sounds like Pulis probably walked after a row with the chairman.

Either a minor hiccup (not being paid on time is wrong irrespective of your wage) or the form shown by the owners on previous takeovers coming true.

Nigel said that he will never manage a Sheffield club as he lives in Sheffield and likes to go out to the pub when he's home.  Being a manager of either club would mean fans bugging him when he has a pint & obviously no good could come from that.

Derby's defeat at Sheffield Wednesday (2 wins in 2 since Pulis was fired) drops Notts Forest into the relegation zone on goal difference with Derby one place above them.

Oh dear. What a shame. Never mind.

Rotherham have 2 games in hand, they win either of them and that dumps both Derby and Forest into the relegation zone
