We’ve been hamstrung by injuries to key players at a key time. We badly missed Ndidi in January. Now, we badly miss Maddison, Chilwell and Ricardo.

Once we get these players back to fitness, chop out the deadwood and bring in some quality, I think we’ll be ok and hoping for a good 20-21 season, will enjoy being in Europe again that’s for sure!!  Just hope we play quicker, we’ve been too slow and predictable for the 2nd half of the season.

Yep it's easy to forget how much we suffered with the Ndidi injury at a crucial time, as well as Vardy being half injured for a good number of games too. We don't have the depth of others to be able to carry that, clubs like us need a bit of luck with injuries and we just haven't had that since Christmas.

Appreciate the sentiment but we know spiralling form can carry across seasons.

The backroom staff and board have an absolutely mammoth couple of months ahead.

Having your best players fit helps to stop form!

The performance was okay we didn’t yet again have any luck, Vardy header hitting the post and several times Man U made a mess of things and got lucky with balls in their box.

Anyway Goal achieved and Vardy got golden boot so that is rather positive. Rodgers needs to get this team together again, add some quality and depth. We missed Ricardo massively, and any injuries like that to certain key players and we look poor.

My positivity stretches to BR will start the season as Leicester City manager but I very much doubt he will finish the season a Leicester City manager.

I love the sentiment here but blowing CL since the beginning of 2020 is huge. We can’t attract bigger players. We will lose our better players.

i can’t stand to watch Man Utd in next seasons champions league. We’ve absolutely bottled it and only ourselves to blame.... even today. We just don’t learn. Our players  are stupid. Some of most unintelligent I can remember.

got what we deserved. I hate to admit it. I am gutted

We the fans wouldn't of been able watch our team play in the champions league due to 2nd wave throughout Europe

is that positive enough?

Some big lessons and experiences for Justin, Thomas and Soyuncu in last few weeks.

Unpopular opinion but at times post lockdown, we’ve done okay with the available players. It’s been the thirty minute spells where we’ve completely fcuked up. Throw the first choice XIs issues when N’Didi got injured and Vardy went dry, that’s when we fcuked it. When the senior players should have stood up. A missed penalty at Burnley by Vardy. A bit of grit defending their corners. Not shitting the bed at Norwich.

That was the key, that N Didi injury really did us

That’s the rub. With CL football, you not only attract a better quality of players (especially non-UK players) but you get more money to pay for it. Huge chance missed!

Yes, that's the really depressing part of all this.

I’m going to (try) and avoid anything football related for a couple of weeks. I’ve hated these last few weeks, especially how much the results have effected my mood. I’m so glad it’s over.

Hard to imagine now but once a player or two is signed and then new fixtures come out we’ll all have that pang of excitement yet again. Then we have Europa League draw to look forward to and at least 6 European matches to get excited about.

This year has been tough, but there’s plenty of reason to be optimistic about our future, even if it’s hard to see now.

Won't deny, I am a little disappointed but that only stems from the fact that for 90% of the season we were occupying CL places... in the final week we lost that and missed out on the prize and I truly feel the club should have done more in the January Transfer window to strengthen their position of power, for whatever reason they chose not to do so and I think they will rue that decision.

That said, we're in the Europa... hopefully we get some favourable ties, but it is European football and we can hope that it helps us to build. I think we need to buy a lot as we truly lack strength in depth and are thin on quality, but I think the club will come good.
