Evans is back for Man City isn't he? Don't know if he's injured, but he's only suspended for Burnley and the cup game against Arsenal.

Good spot! Strange that he didn't feature in any pre season games or in any of the internationals with Northern Ireland, will he be match ready to come straight in against Man City?

Missed the first NI international for personal reasons and then when he got back into training ahead of the second game, had a thigh strain so they didn't risk him.

 

He's also in today's training photos so he'll be fit and ready I'd imagine.

Would start gray or albrighton in this one, maybe iheanacho, perez didnt match up well to burnley in both fixtures last year.

We thought our depth was bad, after the injuries and that 11, pretty much the only recognisable players on the bench are; Bardsley (RB), Pieters (LB), Brady (LM), Vydra (ST), none of which I see as being able to come off the bench and make a difference

Probably Bardsley rather than Lowton.  Vydra can make a difference off the bench, as he proved a couple of times last season.  But as long as we're winning, we don't want to make a difference!

couple of free agent suggestions for them would surely be the likes of charlie daniels, and mark pugh formerly of bournemouth both would fit their prototype of a player

Tbf we had enough chances in that game to win by 3 or 4. Don't think they had many injuries, though.

So you're still unconvinced by Ndidi as a CDM? I guess having the most tackles and interceptions in the league for the past few seasons just isn't up to scratch.
