It's funny if you read back through this thread a vocal minority think he's flash, self obsessed and arrogant.

Every time he's Interviewed and his actions of the pitch paint a completey different picture of an intelligent, hard working and throughly decent young lad.

I think that's what upsets a lot of our fans too. Their brains can't handle the fact that someone can have nice things, be a bit flashy and also a decent human being.

It just doesn't fit their narrative so they turn to hate.

I find quite often that unpleasant human beings take great offence at other human beings being decent.

Honestly, looked far too good for the rest of this shower in recent months. Pretty much dragging us to the top half of the table on his own right now. A lot like Kelechi did in the 2nd half of last season.

Premier League Player Stats - Goals

Btw, worth saying today that his goal today puts him joint with Tony Cottee as our 5th top PL scorer. Despite playing significantly less games than the other 2 non-strikers in Mahrez and Izzet. So not bad going. If he keeps his current scoring rate in the 2nd half of the season as he has for the 1st half then he'll be joint 3rd place by the end of the season.

1. Jamie Vardy 127
2. Riyad Mahrez 39
=3. Muzzy Izzet 33
=3. Emile Heskey 33
=5. Tony Cottee 27
=5. James Maddison 27

Further emphasises how good a season Maddison is having. Bowen in great form as well, Maddison equally so and has been pivotal for us last few months.

I've been really impressed with Madders, he has clearly focused and worked hard. He was one of a very few to show a bit of fight and passion against NF.  I'm pleased to not see him in the party video.  He has really seemed to listen to advice and take it on board and it's showing in his play.

Go on Madders!

Yeah fair play Madders, was nice to see that it actually mattered to someone. Been impressed with him, the past few months. If he can carry it through to the end of the season then I will start to believe that he can be a top player at this level. The consistency of effort and performance is the key thing for him now.

He has so much potential and has hit another rich vain of form. The issue has always been the mentality and distractions, and often we see him play really well for 2-3m, think he's going to get in contention for England, and then wane.

In his interviews he comes across very likeable with a nice type of arrogance, which you need, to be a top player.

Hopefully with Leicester he can achieve what we know he has potential for; on his day I'd rate him higher than Grealish, Mount etc.

9 goals and 6 assists this season. Could have a 10+ goals and assists season which would represent a great return. Also better or equal than his English rivals, and in fewer minutes than Mount who also has 15. Hope he can keep it up, in this form is a top top player.

Maddison - 15 G/A’s

Mount - 15 G/A’s

Foden - 13 G/A’s

Grealish - 6 G/A’s

Last summer many people, myself included, would've happily sold him to Arsenal for a decent fee. Now I'd be gutted to lose him in the summer. It goes to show the progress he's made recently in terms of both effort and goal contributions that no one thinks Rodgers was talking about him when he talks about hunger.

He was ok on Sunday I thought. He was the only attacking player who actually looked like he wanted to be there. It’s actually great to see his attitude at the moment because we all know about how talented he is.
