This thread is laughable. Instead of talking about him at the darts or borderline stalking him why not speak about his fantastic displays recently? It’s quite evident that some have an agenda against him. Yes, I am not the biggest support when it comes to his off the pitch antics but he is been our best player for a while now. Give him a break.

Pretty sure this thread is 95% posts like this ^.

The vast majority of people clearly are backing Maddison.

I like to think some have a vendetta against him because of his lackadaisical corner flag approaches and will forever hold this vendetta until their dying day. Next time he takes one, I want him to saunter up the corner flat blowing kissing at the crowd only to slam it directly out of touch, showing no remorse whatsoever.

Not me.

I just have an agenda over his wispy little beard.

Maddison definitely posts these pictures to see this thread go up lol

More than likely to be true.

Seems the type who'd type his name on Google and search for fans' comments about him.

Both him and KDH have bad facial hair. Although both have been our best players for the past month or so. Must be the secret.

I have facial hair that is questionable.  I was never that good or football.

I’d be amazed if 90% of players didn’t read fans comments about them.
Fans forums, social media the comments are everywhere and players will read them all the time.

They would definitely be advised by their clubs not too as these places are bat shit mental. But you would wouldn't you? It's human nature to wonder what people are saying about your work.

I worked with a guy last year who was a retired AFL player. He was only mid to late 20s, and one of the reasons he quit was the stuff that was posted online.
He read everything, as did all of the players under 30 according to him - when they’d have a good game it was addictive with so much praise from former players, legends, and supporters.
When they had a bad game it was a nightmare, but as much as they were told not too, social media is important to this generation, they are always on it. They get notifications and can’t help but read it.

They look in fans forums and “supporters” get in their heads. It really doesn’t help their performance.

Well just look at what he said to Thomas after the Liverpool game “Stop checking what everyone’s saying about your performance v Salah, bro!”

Good lord that was an era. Remember Lombardo's monk cut? You just don't see the bald head hairy sides look anymore.

Tbh, Agnew's side style looked ridiculous even then. I think it was because he was a Yorkshireman

Haha. Assuming Madders is reading, keep it up sunshine! I enjoy it (and I'm nigh on twice your age)...

As for the original point, not sure why it was generally accepted as OK for Fuchs to have clothing lines, soccer academies and a social media profile but young lads now can't...

I know people hate the whole 'can I have your shirt?!' thing but this has probably made that kid's life getting his shirt, on his birthday no less.
