He must have been really suffering from that injury until recently

For months and months he was shite

Now, he’s scintillating again

Great to see

It never ceases to amaze me how important self-confidence is in sport.

Maddison was arguably our worst player earlier this season. Now, on a roll, he is unquestionably our best.

He looks great again. Sad thing is he won't make the England squad come march should he still be in this form.

The golden boys will all be ahead of him.

Liked his celebration today. A little appreciative clap to the away support.

Hopefully some bridges being mended as I've had this gut feeling there's been a subtle distancing between him.and the support (or lack of, from some quarters)

Well.played madders! A  joy to watch today, even in defeat

He is quite simply a marvellous footballer. I think he struggles with this hip problem, which can make it difficult for him to perform at elite level all of the time, but I am hopeful that he is learning to manage it now.

A player that can light up any game with that rare ability to break the line with a turn or a pass.

Best english number 10 in the when fit and on his game.

Absolutely categorically not this.

he is an excellent player when he wants to be but Grealish & Foden are on another level.

Bertrand and Vesty can get in the bin.

I'm so pleased to see him back on form. Like many on here I feared the worst, that the hip injury was progressive.

Let's hope he can sustain this, because when on song there is no better English attacking midfielder. Not that Southgate would appreciate those attributes.
