Cengiz Signs!

Recommended Posts

He's going to be great for us. Brendan is handling him just right. He needs to be brought up to Prem speed slowly, for one reason only, so as he doesn't pick up an injury and be out for a long time. You could see he was moving much better tonight and looking more confident in himself which lead to the Goal.

I can't wait to seen him in full flight skipping pass defenders and creating panic in defenses.

Perez wouldn't have been able to do what Under did for that goal. Hasn't got the speed.

I will refer to him as Under for now, but he becomes Cengiz once he scores a goal from distance for us.

Bay Under..to you sir..!!

No chance Perez could do that was there. Under is a far better fit for our team. He will create space for others. Hope he gets a start against Athens and nails that RW spot.

The gaffer says that Cengiz needs to work on his fitness and that he's behind the others, but that the player knows that's the case. This explains why he's been the least used of the new signings, though it must be said you can see him getting sharper with every game, and the sprinting and speed is starting to get there. He had Xhaka on toast against Arsenal for example.

As others have said, starting the game to have 60 minutes or so in the cup sounds quite likely.

Tielemans and Under handed it to Vardy on a Silver Platter.

Cengiz never looked at Vardy until after the cross. Their goalie couldn't cover Vardy because he thought he was going to shoot leaving JV with an open goal. Cunning.

Cengiz didn't have a preseason. He was off the club training in Roma for about 2-3 weeks in preseason because of his fore-standing  move to Napoli, which took too long and in the end they didn't agree and  he was back in training for 2-3 days and off to an international break and then another 2-3 weeks in Istanbul and around the world to do the visa things etc before joining Leicester and then again off  to an other  international break after a few days of training as you may recall ... .

Btw. you may not know this but his last injury he got at an international break similar to Cags now. I like to see them playing for Turkey but I am also always very concerned. There is an other international break coming soon, I hope everyone has learned their lessons and will be much more careful.

Is it as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning?

If you have played football before then you should appreciate how good that assist is.

First of all the turn and run, then the speed to latch on to the pass, then comes the hard bit, the timing and skill to exact that sort of pass from a very very awkward ball bouncing and travelling at speed.

Classy footballer who will fit in well

Forgot to add that which makes it even better, and although I hate to bring it up and no comparison to the kinetic understanding of  Mahrez assisting Vardy  but without looking he knew where Vards would be in that split second.

Very exciting times
