I was thinking the same but who should go in the #10 rile and who goes up top between Perez and Barnes?

I was thinking

              Amartey/Evans/Cags

Castagne                                   Justin

                 Mendy/Tielemans

    Perez                                  Barnes

                         Vards

Mendy and tielemans worked well last week but pushing tielemans maybe a little forward gives him more freedom to affect play going forward. Perez's speed could be helped by both Castagna's pace or replace him with Under if he's struggling.

This gives us flair in the middle going central and speed up the flanks. All we need then is Fofana to knock a few headers in the back of the net.

Same line-up as before.

Kasper

Amartey - Evans - Soyuncu

Castagne                                      Justin

Mendy

Tielemans

Perez - Vardy - Barnes

And so it should be.

Agreed. We could have even gone 4-4-1-1 with Perez in the whole and Under on the right

With the pace we have out wide Perez is more than capable of working the ball centrally in any direction particularly vards 👍

Bit surprised with the formation but just because we’ve got a back 3 doesn’t mean we will sit back. In fact won’t it just be 3412 with Perez as the 10 behind Vardy and Barnes? We played that way a few times last season. Then perhaps if things go well both Under and Fofana could come on for debuts.

Otherwise we might just play 343 which might explain Perez / Under over Praet as the right wide forward. Definitely very harsh on Praet though, he’s been one of our best players this season! Maybe we don’t want to risk an injury?

Anyway well up for this, COYB!

I'm glad they are being sensible and resting Madders and Praet as we don't want to push them and make the niggles worse and a bigger problem. Still a strong team and bench. Riding high with confidence after last week, they can win this and top the table before the break!
