Tottenham Hotspur (A) pre match

Recommended Posts

Spurs again will try and do what Everton did today but they have Son and Kane so much much better options that’s DCL and Richarlson.

Last season they had beaten us before half time so we need to come up with a plan to nullify their counter attacking.

This lot used to be good to watch but have gone full Tony Pulis with their tactics. 24% possession tonight at Anfield.

We will have most of the ball and they will counter us. If they go a goal up, they will park the bus even more and shut the game down.

Same line up again but with Evans back and Ndidi moved forward to CDM.

Could see us also putting in Praet to fill midfield & try to hold a position to korrupt the quick breaks, so either Barnes or Under to be sacrificed,Maybe both

with a Vardy & Layed back Perez Working with maddison, then Tielemans + Praet, with Ndidi in his routine DM position..

its a weird season, Spurs will get pumped up in the media, but it would be typical of Leicester to do a Smash & grab job..

If Fuchs or Mendy play we might as well just walk off the pitch.

Kasper

Castange Fofana Evans Justin

        Praet Ndidi Tielemens

      Under   Vardy   Barnes

Maddison deserves to be dropped after that game. Really hope Castange is back, we miss him up the side.

5 at the back is an option I’m ok with this game also.

Castange Fofana Evans Justin Thomas

          1 of  Barnes/Under/Perez

                      Vardy

Play on the counter, keep it tight then try and sh*thouse late on. Might suit us better to force Mourinho to come out or force a stalemate.

Only chance we have is to out sh1thouse them. Play a really deep 541 low block, like against Arsenal away. Force them to try to play through us and leave no space behind at all.

I'm usually pretty optimistic, but just feel we will be on the end of a bad loss here.

Perez        Praet          Barnes

I'm a big Maddison fan, but this isn't the match for him. Hojberg will dominate him, and we will be better off sitting a little deeper and trying to break quickly.

I'd also get Wilf to just follow Kane all match, if that means he goes into a back 3 then fine, but just sit on him. Allows Fofana to deal with Son and Evans a spare man.
