Gazza M Posted 8 March 2025 Posted 8 March 2025 I would start and replace on 60 mins approx. Care needed otherwise he will be back in the spa treatment centre at Seagrave soon.

I realise I’m going to have to tolerate them all for several more years yet, but can’t wait to see Souttar & Nelson or Okoli next season. PS. I can really. In fact I can probably wait a few years before going again… I doubt you'll be seeing Souttar next season unless Sheff United don't go up...

In fact I can probably wait a few years before going again… I won't be going again anytime soon either. I'm not arsed what league we are in or whether we win lose or draw (of course I always want us to win) but the very basics I want to see is players playing with pride, fight and passion, something that is massively lacking with this lot. Add in all the board room issues, ticketing issues etc and I just don't want to give any of my hard earned cash to the club in the it's current guise. Not my club and won't be until Top either sells up or actually restructures the club and hires people that know what they are doing at every single level of the club. 2
Deeg67 Posted 8 March 2025 Posted 8 March 2025 I'd almost be temped to try something like a 5-4-1 with all of our wing options being dross. Three at the back with Okili-Vesty-Faes, Ricardo and Woyo as wingbacks, Wilf and Winks playing directly behind Bilal and Facundo, Daka up top. It's narrow, but you'd have to rely on the WBs to provide some attacking width. Our CBs are better suited to a three, obviously. And that formation with that personell might restore some decent control in midfield. 1

This but 1 change please, Coady for Vesty..Vestergaard is not a CB for a fight at least Coady will put his head in & be the lesser of 2 evils. 1

But I don't think he'll start him after he's been out so long. I think he could start him. He'll get a better idea of how it will work whilst it's 0_0 than he will when it's 3_0. Once we are 2 down they all give up. You could put prime Messi on then and it would make fvck all difference to these idol gutless cvnts. 1

Molson Canadian Posted 25 March 2025 Posted 25 March 2025 "Ricardo made his comeback from a four-month absence during City’s defeat to Chelsea earlier this month, but was then missing for the loss to Manchester United. Ruud van Nistelrooy said he had a 'minor muscle injury' and that he could 'maybe' return for the trip to Man City next Wednesday."Leicestershire Live
ajthefox Posted 25 March 2025 Posted 25 March 2025 It's kind of a shame Riccy is still here and will be part of this shower of shit that gets relegated. It's unfortunate that he's been out injured but he has never been anything less than solid for us and he is clearly a good bloke. Crazy when you imagine the career he could've had if he'd never done his ACL and had another season of football playing as well as he did in his pomp. 1
Popular Post filbertway Posted 8 April 2025 Popular Post Posted 8 April 2025 What a boy. Was almost forgetting what quality looked like. He had a brilliant 15-20 minute cameo tonight. Feel bad for the guy, he was literally with the worst possible club he could have been with in his prime years. Will always have time for Riccy, top bloke and a top player. 15

Some might say he was at the best club tbh. Been injured for about 5 years and rewarded with a contract extension during it.. not many other clubs would be so stupid Love the guy, and when he's fit he's great but that's the issue he's barely ever fit for more than a couple months a season and takes up a squad place. That being said, he gave more in that 20 mins or so yesterday than I've seen anyone else do in the last eight games 1

Didn't we let him continue to play for 45 mins after his initial injury? haha I'll still never forget Rodgers leaving Vardy on the pitch to play 30 mins of extra time when he had clearly had a groin strain.

AjcW Posted 8 April 2025 Posted 8 April 2025 He should have been club captain for some time now, injuries or no injuries, he's one of the few we have left who care. 4

Popular Post brookfox Posted 8 April 2025 Popular Post Posted 8 April 2025 The guys just a class above. Been badly let down with injuries, and tbh he’s only here because of them! We’ll never know how the season would’ve panned out with him, Fatawu and Ndidi playing more but I’d suggest it’d have been a lot better. After Vardy, comfortably my favourite current player, hoping we get to see a lot more of him next season. 6

glenny_fox Posted 8 April 2025 Posted 8 April 2025 it was refreshing to see a player from a CM position actually try and run forward with the ball rather than stop, look around then pass it to Faes. not only that but trying to take a player on. almost forgot what that feeling was like. 1
