Realist Guy In The Room Posted 20 April 2025 Posted 20 April 2025 Great player but if we can get any money for him in the summer, we should take it. Cannot rely on players constantly out for long periods of time.

He makes such a difference both in and out of possession It proves how far this team has dropped off when a player who’s been out almost the whole season can look a quality above the rest. Ricky P had always been quality but we used to have a team around his quality, we’re so far off it now it’s sad 8
LCFCCKEANO Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 He should’ve took a move 3/4/5 years ago, very clearly a level beyond what we have in so many ways, if he was at a big club he’d be gearing down and prepping for his summer free transfer to Italy to play out his career in paradise, instead he’s on filbo lane playing next to Wout Faes, poor bloke 2
Popular Post Foxin_Mad Posted 21 April 2025 Popular Post Posted 21 April 2025 To be honest he seems a top guy, a bit plagued by injuries. You can’t often fault his commitment. I think Ricky could be a good manager/coach in future 6

Lionator Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 He deserves better than this, if anyone deserves a big US/Saudi payday then it’s him as I can’t see any big European teams taking him on with his injury record. What could’ve been.

goose2010 Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 One of the good guys definitely and has alluded to the club getting it wrong rather than just the players. It certainly feels with some of the comments our suspicions are correct that there is something definitely not right behind the scenes
RumbleFox Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 A genuinely world class player (at his peak) playing for this team is one of the most depressing things I’ve seen as a Leicester fan. 3
rachhere Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 I know it’s a risk with his injury record but would love to have him with us next season. 2
LVFox Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 I'd love him here next season, but similarly at his wages and with his injury record, if he wants to move on it may make sense for both parties. Cannot see he hasn't given us great value in his years with us and seems one of the last ones left with high standards

Noahfence Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 (edited) Would love to have him around again next season. At championship level he is a bit of a cheat code if he can stay fit. Just too much quality. Edited 21 April 2025 by Noahfence
cityfanlee23 Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 I can't help but notice just how big of a decline we've had, in 2018 we signed Ricardo Pereira from Champions League club Porto. 7 years later we have more chance of signing his replacement from Port Vale.
cityfanlee23 Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 He's one of the players where if he wants to stay with us (and we reasonably think we can get another 35 games out of him next season) he simply has to stay, but if he has ANY second thoughts about his future, I'd applaud him leaving, he's one of the few players this club doesn't deserve to drag down to the Championship. 1
Blue ROI Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 Other than Vardy he must be the last high performer of the Vichai era left. Getting injured before Covid ruined him. Even 5 years ago I would have felt he was good enough for a last 8 Champions League club. Unlike so many other unlikeables he can walk away from all of this with his reputation intact. 1
FrankieADZ Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 if he stays, for which many of us would like him too(certainly would be sad to see him go but as others have said, hes one of the few who can hold their heads high imo) He has to be made club captain, no ifs or buts 1

Uncle Monty Posted 22 April 2025 Posted 22 April 2025 Would any other club take a risk on him? I'm confident he'll stay because of his injury record.

RoboFox Posted 22 April 2025 Posted 22 April 2025 One of the few players that actually seem to care. His interview with RL the other day was one of the most honest I've heard come out of this entire shit-show. No Coady-esque "the lads are together" meaningless platitude bollocks. Admitted the club needs changes at all levels and nearly went so far as to say certain players are just phoning it in. Would love him to stay, but if he doesn't it would be a retirement league at this stage. Nice pay packet, easier on his body. One more big injury and he's done for IMO. 1
