Ian Nacho Posted 18 April Author Posted 18 April I don't think he's a bad egg as such but his legs have done and he clearly isn't captain material.
Muzzy_no7 Posted 18 April Posted 18 April Aluko has to start the remaining games and Ricardo get some token goodbye minutes. 1

Rubbersoul Posted 18 April Posted 18 April Just let Aluko play the final 3. We’re down. There is quite literally nothing to lose now 1

CrazyKopCorner Posted 18 April Posted 18 April Shot it. Thanks Riccy but you are spent. Let him go now
jonthefox Posted 18 April Posted 18 April My favourite player in recent years. Been here for two seasons too long now. 1
Chelmofox Posted 18 April Posted 18 April This chap is often mentioned as a 'nice bloke'. I met him a few times after games in the Enzo system - seemed nice, although a bit weird. But, as Captain, is he more complicit in this that i first thought? As one of the 'senior players', he was sidelined by Cooper and many of us (myself included) were a bit bemused by this. But Riccy is part of the furniture here, and one of Tops last 'golden generation' signings. Once Cooper was gone, Riccy was much more back in the picture and no and behold pretty much undroppable whilst we play this 'system'. Makes me think he's a big part of why we still play it.
Tielemans63 Posted 18 April Posted 18 April Time to send him to the glue factory. Completely done and has been for ages
coolhandfox Posted 18 April Posted 18 April Too many major injuries and been here two season to long.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 18 April Posted 18 April Sad demise of a very good player. No more Ricardo now please. 1
fazzyfox Posted 18 April Posted 18 April I think Aluko should start all 3 with Ricardo having the last 20 mins of Millwall as a farewell then just not involved at Blackburn. He’s not our biggest problem but the one thing we can do is increase Aluko’s game experience as he’s likely to be part of our future and we’ll need every last crumb of advantage once the season starts so a little run of games now is money in the bank in his development. 1

We sack Marti an it’s clear to anyone with a football brain where a lot of a problems are. Rowett turns up to work with Top in the office. Do you think Riccy puts his hand up and says ‘I think now is the time to switch this up and think differently about this?’ He’s as complicit as any of the bad eggs and sticking to this. He would have had his opportunity to influence change.

lcfc sheff Posted 18 April Posted 18 April Hes such a nice bloke, its such a shame to see him like this. I still think he's playing with an injury tbh, just can't see how he would become so shit so quick

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 April Posted 21 April Biggest joke captain of all time. Never heard someone speak continuous bollocks non stop. Stole a wage for years. So glad he's gone this summer
Headcase Posted 21 April Posted 21 April "We have 2 games to get some pride and play for the shirt!" Is he for real ? 1

HankMarvin Posted 21 April Posted 21 April Off the pitch a good captain. Not the best example on it as meant to lead my example and he was shit most weeks needs to retire or go play in America
Sunbury Fox Posted 21 April Posted 21 April Was a great player back in the day but has been an abomination this season. Slow, clumsy and error prone. Can't even pass and control the ball any more. Epitomises our sad fall from grace. 1
