Considering he hid behind the injury problems last season yet chalked up 52 points, I'm intrigued as to why he thinks we'll be 12 points worse off with a fully fit squad minus a couple of players (one of which barely featured).

He'll be alright, don't worry about him, he's got other irons in the fire, it's the best thing that's ever happened to him to be honest, love to see Top telling the players, because he'll have a mutiny on his hands, they will go berserk, definitely.

This is a squad that he has built and that at the start of last season was talking about disrupting the top 6 and doing well in Europe.

 

He is talking like a man that's had 3 or 4 of his best players sold in the summer without any replacements.

I understand his point but also, some clubs would pray for a stable core of 5 players for 3 or 4 years. In fact it was seen as a big strength of ours until he wanted to use it as an excuse!
