If that is the case, what better time to sack him than now? Give the new manager a couple of weeks to work with the players, let the new set piece coach work with the players and most importantly, give the fans a real lift going into the game! Well a lot of us would think that, and yet its not going to happen, and those at the "top" just seem to be frozen with indecision. So my strong guess is that nothing will happen

st albans fox Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 Brendan will be unhappy that he had to go through that presser yesterday for no good reason …. 4

st albans fox Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 The possible postponement of next weekend would leave us with 1 point at the beginning of October now I know the circumstances are that it’s still 6 games but surely he can’t survive that ??? the added bonus that a new man would get several weeks to work with the squad is surely attractive in making a quick call on this if there are issues between rodgers and the players then having them spend the next week and most of them the int break together is not going to help
Aleksz Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 Can’t decide if the idea of probably not playing for nigh on a month is a good thing or a bad thing for our situation here. On one hand Brendan’s not going to have these next games to finish him off, but on the other hand there’s a LONG time to get a new name in and settled now. To be a fly on the wall in the board room right now.

Mike Oxlong Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 Good job they got Chas in position quickly otherwise Brendan would have applied for the vacant monarch position
Happy Fox Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 Sack him asap, and bring in a new manager ahead of Forest. 1 1

Popular Post Arriba Los Zorros Posted 9 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 9 September 2022 Please Top use this unexpected extra time to sort out the severance package and line up the replacement. We gotta be opportunistic here. 4 1
KFS Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 Would be perfect timing. This is essentially a mini pre-season and chance to get this back 5 working together Iversen Castagne Faes Evans JJ Moving two games to January means we may have Riccy back for them and chance to get a few in the door in the winter window. Postponements could be a blessing. 1

To add to this, with the postponements our next run of games is this Forest Bournemouth Palace Leeds Sack Rodgers now, get the new guy training his team and tactics for three weeks, then four wins on the bounce. Simple. 2 1
foxinsocks Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 No games for three weeks... ideal time to fire Rodgers and get someone new in 3
Gazza M Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 It beggars belief if the board think 3 weeks extra work will mean he does anything different. He had preseason and the squad is not even in good shape fitness wise never mind tactically. Get him gone now! 4
Hollism Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 We’re gonna sack him after the Forest game and this month will have gone to waste. 1
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 Potters got 3 weeks to train with his squad before a game while our boys will be seeing Brendan face for 3 weeks trying to pretend he's a changed man 😟 1
Grebfromgrebland Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 Hopefully this can be a reset and we can actually start the season again. Pretend it's was all a dream or something

Popular Post Tuna Posted 9 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 9 September 2022 (edited) If the next two games are postponed, the club need to move to sack Rodgers immediately, loads of time to get a replacement in who can work with the players, it would be completely stupid to give Rodgers the Forest game! Edited 9 September 2022 by Tuna 6
Matt Posted 9 September 2022 Posted 9 September 2022 (edited) Is Brendan Rodgers a cat? 9 lives and all that?! Likelyhood is he has atleast another 3 or 4 weeks now. When it was quite feasible he’d have been gone after tomorrow - which is way longer than he should have had anyway. Edited 9 September 2022 by Matt 2 1 1

Popular Post lgfualol Posted 9 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 9 September 2022 Based on how the club has operated lately, it'll probably be 3 weeks of Rodgers destroying the squad further and then getting sacked after we get battered by Forest, leaving the replacement with a lot of work to do. 6
