Jimmy Posted 13 August 2021 Posted 13 August 2021 I'm not bothered if the right winger is left footed or not but we need someone, Pulisic and Sancho are right footed and you wouldn't turn either down for our right wing

Do me a list of 5 that would improve us that we could realistically get. I don't want a list of right footed wingers that are renown for playing on the left.
Dan Posted 13 August 2021 Posted 13 August 2021 It's funny how quiet this thread has turned since the Madueke link looks like there's something in it.

I also liked Tajon Buchanan and the LCB for Canada (his name escapes me), but not as much as Robinson. I would feel more comfortable with Robinson partnering Soyoncu than Vestergaard . His pace would be more suited for a lot of the top attackers in the premier league. I worry that when we push up in possession, Vestergaard is going to get dusted on the counter.

Vestergaard has Ndidi, Bertrand, Soyuncu, and Ricardo around him who are all very pacy. I'd much rather have a proven centre back who has shown he can play well at PL level than someone from the MLS who has had some good international performances.

I just got this feeling he's going to be more Ryan Bennett than Robert Huth. I hope I'm wrong.
FoxinNotts Posted 14 August 2021 Posted 14 August 2021 James Rodriguez from Everton, for Ayoze Perez and £20m. Everyone’s a winner

Pliskin Posted 15 August 2021 Posted 15 August 2021 I know I gave him a bit of a ribbing, but I’ve mentioned it before, I’d still take Adama here. I think Rodgers would have a field day with him…. Sort out his end product and you’ve got an unstoppable demon…..

I would think any manager he has played for has gone down that path and have resigned themselves to adapting to what he does on the pitch. The problem is what he sees in those attacking situations and obviously he makes his decisions in that instance. He makes poor decisions and lacks the awareness needed to capitalise on the opportunity he has created, with his speed and physicality. 1
escape2victory Posted 15 August 2021 Posted 15 August 2021 Amazed Sarr is still at Watford, looks a real threat. Maybe question marks over end product but I’d have him here no probs 3

Silebyfox_89 Posted 16 August 2021 Posted 16 August 2021 Mbuemo i'd go for, watched Sarr's highlights and has pace and direct but his close control looks a little clumsy to me.
simon789us Posted 16 August 2021 Posted 16 August 2021 Right sided attacker maybe a loan cb and youri to sign a new contract now that would be a great transfer window
HankMarvin Posted 16 August 2021 Posted 16 August 2021 Not that we need Central midfielders, but I wonder where Barkley will end up after being stripped of his squad number?
