ShadowKing Posted 24 June 2021 Posted 24 June 2021 Would you guys take less cash if they offer saka?? Not sure if they play the same position though, so might be pointless to take him.
OntarioFox Posted 24 June 2021 Posted 24 June 2021 (edited) World's gone absolutely bonkers, Every time something like this Ben White nonsense pops up - someone who had a good - not remarkable - season for Brighton after almost being shown the door for them previously... Well it just makes me even more grateful for how we conduct our business. If this is how low Arsenal have fallen, it just relaxes me that we can really establish ourselves in the top six at their expense going forwards. I'll gladly keep picking off talents from overseas for £20-40 million and promoting academy lads if Ben White is what £50 million gets you from the domestic market these days. OhYesNdidi Posted 24 June 2021 Posted 24 June 2021 (edited) We were quoted £40m for Dunk back in 2018 Edited 24 June 2021 by OhYesNdidi
Super_horns Posted 24 June 2021 Posted 24 June 2021 Some talk on Twitter that away fans won’t be allowed in grounds till Christmas ! Cannot see that going down well at all given the crowds expected at sporting events in the next few weeks. https://mobile.twitter.com/unit_football/status/1408020325389017090
The Bear Posted 24 June 2021 Posted 24 June 2021 (edited) Seems Spurs are getting close to appointing Nuno. The Spurs fans have kicked off with #NoToNuno on Twitter Edited 24 June 2021 by The Bear 4

Stadt Posted 24 June 2021 Posted 24 June 2021 Ben White will prove to be worth £50m. They spend half of that on a new CB every other year anyway, better to spend what you need to finally fix a problem position rather than keep bodging it biennially.

wardyfox86 Posted 24 June 2021 Posted 24 June 2021 They really should be trying to get William Saliba in the deal somewhere.

If he kicks on and turns in to being a long term or longer term CB for them he's definitely worth it. But if he's chopped and changed, then could be a wasted spend.

UniFox21 Posted 24 June 2021 Posted 24 June 2021 Nuno's gone from Palace to Everton to Spurs in a matter of weeks

Wymsey Posted 24 June 2021 Posted 24 June 2021 (edited) Sam Allardyce would be a great for Palace. A high chance of genuinely being in a relegation scrap. Without Eze and Zaha, they probably have a mid-table Championship team. Edited 24 June 2021 by Wymsey 2
