If Tielemans did that you better believe he'd be starting tomorrow, and next week and every week after that. Zouma is in a specialised profession. He's not the weatherman for Channel 4. I would criticise our club if we selected a player less than a day after that video emerged. He deserves punishment that includes a spell on the sidelines and concrete measures in his homelife, like removing those cats. Some things deserve punishment for club culture. This is one example. The fact you are defending West Ham and comparing them to us...sickens me. 2
Dahnsouff Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 Karma for you Kurt, it’s coming, you are going to be….
st albans fox Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 And on a night where West Ham pay tribute a little girl who died of cancer …….. I have a feeling that this isn’t moyes decision ……
Ric Flair Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 I don't care what different cultures there are if there's supposedly one that thinks its acceptable/tolerable to buy animals as pets and volley them. It's every bit as abborhent as any culture that thinks it's acceptable to ping women or children. Moyes has massively gone down in my estimation. Hope we absolutely hammer them on Sunday. Coonts 4
twister Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 (edited) Moyes has shown a lot about himself tonight one his player abuses a animal But he picks him anyway so they can win a game of football. Absolute no moral fibre from the entire club. If a club I supported picked a player after doing a act like this i'd never go in the ground again. I am a cat person and it hurts just looking at the video, cats feel pain like we do, they also get affected by anxiety and trauma for long periods after bad ownership Edited 8 February 2022 by twister 3
adejo92 Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 Hope someone snaps Zouma's leg in half. How West Ham start him is beyond me.
Fox92 Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 Always liked Moyes but what a weird comment. It's as if it was a squad player he wouldn't be in the side but because he's one of their "best players" he's allowed to play. Bollox club are dealing with it to. It'll be the same shit every club does by sending him on somesort of course.

You've said it's not a non issue in France but it massively is here. I wouldn't say it is a non issue, and it has been reported because he is a French international, but (IMO) I don't think there is as much sentimentality towards pets as there is in the UK. Jonezy Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 Really hoping this is a karma moment for West Ham and their luck changes. I kind of liked them challenging the big guys, when we can't, but any sympathy for them has just vanished. 1

Vacamion Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 Pickford on the receiving end of louder booing at Newcastle than Zouma got for his first touch at West Ham.
urban.spaceman Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 Honestly some of the player scandals we've had over the years... La Manga fire extinguisher, La Manga rape arrests, racist Thai orgy and the absolute worst, PLAYERS GOING TO THE DARTS. Zouma: Hold my cat. 3

Don't you try and wiggle out of what you said. You said Zouma is a "prized" asset and we'd do the same as West Ham (when in the recent past like last year with the partying players we dropped them). If you act like West Ham made a rational decision you're condoning them. And that is your right to support a club not bothering to take animal cruelty seriously. 2
Unabomber Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 This must’ve been a decision ran by the higher ups. Surely Moyes doesn’t pick him without consulting others and getting the ok.

Lets have a bit of balance in the discussion please! He did and he faced the courts. Zouma should also face the courts. 1
Grebfromgrebland Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 Let's not forget the woman who put a cat in a bin!

StanSP Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 He's gonna score the winner isn't he? West Ham usually have prepared celebrations too. Antonio had a cardboard cut out of himself when he scored against us. There's gonna be a cat in the stadium isn't there...

That's so gross. It's not as if he's ignoring the cats he's actively booting them across the room and then slapping its face. Like? You can not care about an animal and not actively hurt them. I don't understand how anyone is downplaying this. I don't think Zouma should do prison time nor lose his career but to have no professional blowback at all? Think of the message that's sending. My cat is in my arms, snoring like a motor engine. How anyone could hurt an innocent little creature is beyond me. Edited 8 February 2022 by Tanya 3
