He's getting a role as a business manager or on the board or something isn't he? Didn't they send him on a BME executive training programme or something or did I dream that? SBeeehrs ghes

EDIT : I have no idea where SBeeehrs ghes came from but I just finished a run of night shifts and I think it's quite fitting so I'm leaving it.

What a Captain, what a Leader. A true Leicester City Legend and definitely in the LCFC fans "hall of fame"
I really do feel like this is a pivotal moment in how our club moves forward, I really hope you decide to stay in football and stay with the club, triumphs on the pitch that us fans never truly imagined, but off the pitch, the glue that holds everything together. Big loss for us at the end of the season.

Legend was rock solid for us, don't think we would have won the league without him.

Hopefully goes into a coaching role or something for us.

While I agree, playing alongside Robert Huth drastically improved him.

Just a brilliant signing, all told. Helped turn us from Championship underachievers to winners, then a survival in the Premier League before leading us to the title. Scoring in a Champions League knockout game. The final act to play in an F Cup Final and lift the trophy.

Superb service and fully deserves his medals and the adulation coming his way. All the best in retirement, Wes.

Just a fantastic player and leader! Always left everything on the pitch and am thankful we had his best years. Will always be remembered for those iconic moments in our history and throughly deserves the praise and admiration he’s getting. Legend gets over used at times, but this guy will be a player talked about for many years to come.

After the og in the final the first thing I thought of was what a way to end your Leicester Career. Thank you Var.

He's been tremendous for us over the years and to win 3 mayor trophies into the bargain.

I'm sure it's not the end of his Leicester career, just moving to a new title behind the scenes.

Every bit a famous as the Rum.

The last time I felt like this about a Leicester player leaving was Elliot and Izzet.

That's where he fits now as an undisputed LCFC legend.

It does feel odd that we'll not mention him again as an actual available player.

Immense career here, pretty much unrivalled in my time as a supporter.

Probably the best shot blocker I've seen, used to throw his body in the way of so many shots.

Put his body on the line for the club.

Played every minute of our title winning season.

Didn't he also play the summer before the season started for Jamaica? Incredible if I've remembered that right.
