All this confidence on here is no good if Ukraine get a corner or free kick in the last third.

Get more goals.

Then we can be confident.

The way I see it, even if it stays 1-0 for a period of time, it will force Ukraine to come out of their defensive formations and England will be able to hit them on the break. Especially when you consider the attacking options England have on the bench.

Obviously would love the second goal mind you! :P

I'm beginning to think maybe GS has got all his game plans right this tournament

Are you seriously saying that England has a manager that actually knows what he's doing? :frantics:

Story of the tournament so far in this performance. Solid if not spectacular

It’s been an ultra low block from Ukraine this far - making it difficult to be ultra attacking / create chances.

We’re managing the game well, just hoping the final chance we create before the end of the half we take.

Really can’t be doing with this Lino putting the flag up after the passage of play has finished. If he’s offside, let us know at the time.

Yeah, wasn't really a criticism from myself. I'll take it if it wins us a tournament

It's possible. What do you think?

He also didn’t look offside to start with and didn’t on the replay…

Isn't that what they're instructed to do?

Had Kane to have over two shots on target.

Scores in 4 minutes and hasn’t had the hint of a chance since.

Yes. And it’s totally wrong IMO. Think they might be changing it back to normal next season?

I have to admit I'm desperately jealous of people that are as excited about all of this as much as we are for big Leicester games. I used to be like that and as much as I'm enjoying the tournament as a whole I don't get that nervous buzz like I did for say the fa Cup final for example. Would still love us to win it but there's a certain disconnect there for me

They all do it even if they're yards offside. I don't think Shaw was either.
