I think he'll enjoy playing more in the PL then the championship. They'll be alot more space for him to run into and if he finds his confidence, it could be a good season for him.

That goal was all down to raw pace. He had no right in out pacing the defender who had a straight run back at goal where Daka had to arc his run. Sensational speed.

It’s gonna help him so much he’s working under one of the greatest strikers of the modern PL Era.

Probably have the opposite effect since he's spent his whole time here behind another one of the greats. Under and behind, sounds painful

Daka with his Geoff Hurst-esque “They think it’s all over” goal.

Surely in MOTD Dec goal of the month final group, awesome first touch, still plenty to do, ran in on goal, realised pass wasn't on AND as you said just like Geoff in July 66!!!!

And his workrate and closing on the centre backs, really made a great difference last 20.

Daka was his usual chaotic self, but deserved the goal for his efforts. Glad he went it alone and took his shot superbly, which will do his confidence the world of good.

Too early to put that down to RvN, but I'll take anything right now!

That’s literally all Daka needs to do, I can handle him being a bit technically poor but when you’ve got that much pace just give us that desire and intensity and the results will come. So happy for him.

Precisely what we said when we saw the replay.

Definition of a confidence player but can only improve under a former striker.

He really caused them problems when he came on.

The positions he took up seemed to be much better.

The goal was absolutely top draw. The touch, pace, feint and strike were absolutely top class.

Hope this is the start of something for him as he seems a top lad.

If he cant learn and get confidence  from a manager like Ruud and player like  Vardy then he never will at lcfc.

Great to see him score and you can tell the whole crowd wants him to succeed.

Hopefully  this can ignite the inner ruud within him
