San Sebastian was incredible.

Bit of a foodie holiday, so not sure what it would be like if you're not fussed about that sort of thing, but the atmosphere of eating/drinking on the streets in the evening is just amazing.

One of the rare places where both old and new town are nice as well, and the beach goes on for absolute days!

Arenal volcano lodge in Costa Rica. Imagine the scene - a volcano observatory converted into a eco holiday resort, with a pool facing directly towards the volcano, beautiful gardens with hummingbirds, a forest walk with loads of amazing lizards, birds etc. And then the icing on the cake - waking up in the night to the sound of a (minor) eruption and seeing the lava pouring out against the night sky. I believe the volcano is dormant now which is a shame.

Costa Rica on my to do list.

For me Cape Town for Cities

Koh Samui Tongsai Bay was amazing

New Orleans, simply for the music. 24 hours a day 7 days a week, heaven.

Oh I would love to go! I have a holiday planned which I just need to put into action one day - Nashville, New Orleans, Memphis and finishing off with a couple of nights in the Smokey Mountains

San Fransisco I loved visiting, so much character and touristy things to do like visiting Alcatraz (helps loving The Rock and Escape from Alcatraz).

Nature wise, the Fjords in Norway was pretty special, as was Yosemite National Park in California. Sitting on a wall staring at this view will take some beating...

Tunnel view, with a lovely view of bridal veil falls. - This and glacier point offer two of the must see views of the valley. One of Ansel Adams' most famous photographs was taken from here. Beyond that, wider Yosemite National Park and the High Sierras are one of my favourite places on the planet.

South Island New Zealand for me. Hiking and climbing in Mount Aspiring National Park and the Southern Alps...

Did a 2 week hiking tips amongst the west-coast Noweigian fjords about 15-20 years ago which was pretty special - actually got a 6-7hr bus journey from Oslo to the west coast through the mountains which was just breathtaking and the journey flew by just by watching the scenery. Also did some of the Swiss countryside around Mount Blanc a few years back.

That sounds amazing! We did a cruise through the Norwegian Fjords which I absolutely loved. My husband and I got up at I think it was 4am to go to the top observatory deck just as we were entering the Fjords. It was just so incredibly peaceful watching all the scenery around us.

I love Bruges and have been a few times. It’s just got a great feel to it and going in December is class.

Other than that it would probably be Vancouver. Went back in 2019 and loved it, it’s an amazing place to visit with so many different areas. You can walk around the whole island along the sea wall. Then you have the forests, mountains, downtown etc. You can then travel easily to North Vancouver and further to places likes Whistler. The food and beer there is also brilliant.

Maybe too general, but California. Did a road trip from San Diego to San Francisco via various places and just had the best time.

If I could live in any US city it would be San Diego - love the place!

Spent 4 weeks in Ecuador in 2016, roughly a week up a mountain, two weeks in different jungles and a week in the Galapagos islands. Being on a huge coach driving up narrow mountain roads and just continuing to ascend until we hit the clouds was an experience.

I’ve been lucky travel wise so difficult to pick one. Arctic Circle in Northern Sweden, Kiruna. Insane setting on a dog sledge tour with the northern lights in the sky, log cabins etc.

Did Tromso in the same trip which was stunning. That picture was at about 2 in the afternoon by the way.

I'd like to do Nashville and Memphis as well, hopefully get there one day.

I wished I'd of done New Orleans 10 or 15 years ago, simply because it about killed me haha. We're suckers for good bars with character, and they're everywhere. Live music from midday all over the French Quarter till 2/3am, then dive bars blasting out tunes on your way home to tempt you in for one more, then one more......

Tobago. Peaceful & quiet, but still good for a party atmosphere if you know where to look. Great weather all year round, white sandy beaches with crystal clear water, a really beautiful place and still relatively untouched.

Dubai is a close second though, for nothing else other than the incredible architecture. Also, I've never felt more safe walking around the streets at night than I did in Dubai

Easily the best country I've ever been to. I couldn't narrow down to a single area we visited though, it was spectacular from north to south.

Sounds amazing! My husband would be in his element as well - I am normally an early riser on holidays, whilst he prefers the life of a vampire...

It's something special isn't it! Really good country to try for a first backpacking adventure as it's quite compact, relatively safe, but just tonnes of variety of things to see and do.

Been lucky to visit a lot of places. It's so difficult to give an answer.

But if you want to put me on the spot and say one place of pure beauty, it was Tulum beach in Mexico. Incredible. Respectfully behind is the lunch I had on a Monday afternoon in Genoa after watching the derby there.

It would depend on what I was looking for on a particular day, but I'd probably be between:-

1. New York - not everyone's cup of tea, and I'd perhaps only visit again on a fairly short stay, but I loved it. Every street one turns on to had such iconic imagery and it was like being in a Woody Allen film.

2. Rome - similar reasons as stated previously. I love ancient Rome and the buildings are simply beautiful and majestic. It just felt like a city that was very much lived in, but in a positive sense.

3. Brecon Beacons - visited for the first time as an adult in recent weeks and was blown away by the beauty. Stunning waterfalls, wild horses crossing in front of us, fantastic mountains to climb and view etc.
