It does say 'who is your biggest rival?' so it's not like we're expected to be someone's given our location. Or we're just not top of the list for the same reason.

Why weren’t we listed and asked? 🧐

We probably were, but it only lists the biggest rivals in terms of overall % so Man Utd figure twice.

The percentage difference between Crystal Palace and Brighton and Brighton and Crystal Palace is amusing.  I guess some Palace fans have other London clubs to hate.   Southampton might be a bit sad that so few Brighton fans dislike them with maximum passion.

Leeds must feel a little disappointed that their perceived main rival appears in the table twice seeing other clubs as bigger rivals.

From Skybet? Who makes these things? I'm with skybet and was never asked to take part?

Same goes for the 'Are you happy with your current owners' 5% of our fans apprently aren't? I'd like to know who that 5% are.

Asking 'who is your biggest PL rival' is a bit of a redundant question as it applies completely differently to different clubs...

Look at Liverpool. Their main club rivalries are obviously Man Utd and Everton, but neither feature on the list at all. Instead, they've put Man City, because it asked who their PL rival was and - understandably - most will have picked the team they're most in competition with. Similar to why Norwich/Watford supposedly have a 'rivalry', although I'm sure neither particularly cares about the other.

Some are actual rivalries (Arsenal/Spurs, Palace/Brighton, Everton picking Liverpool), others are just 'who are you competing against this season?'. Given our lack of proximity to other clubs and the fact that a whole host of sides could be competing with us for 5th-7th, it was always unlikely that we would have a single club who makes up more than 1 third of our responses and enough to get onto this list.

These kind of surveys are always terrible for methodology and the spin that Sky(Bet) puts on them doesn't help matters.

Such a stupid survey if you're only considering current top flight clubs. Everyone knows Southampton and Newcastle would hate Portsmouth and Sunderland the most respectively.

Villa and Birmingham too.

In fact Villa/Birmingham and Newcastle/Sunderland are among the best three rivalries in the Country but can't be listed on this lol

The problem for us is, all of our Midland rivals got relegated from the EPL years ago.

Truth is up until recently nobody gave a toss about Man City.  Spurs dont hate Man City either.  Spurs hate Chelsea n vice versa.  Brighton hate Palace end of.

Man City for all their wealth are poorly supported just look at the Community Shield their end was embarrassingly empty.

Surprised the Villa mob didn't say Man City given their delusions of grandeur. Presume we aren't on there because our fans didn't pin as much as 34% of responses on the same team and it was split between 4 or 5 teams (Villa, Wolves, Spurs (sigh) and one or two more?)

Man Utd still hate Liverpool more than they hate Man City and always will.
