Vestergaard Injury

Injury this week - having a scan on his knee. Doubtful for West Ham now.
 

I’m not an ITK but I’ve heard from a few of my mates who have been told this. Could be BS but let’s see. 
 

If it turns out to be true, I’ll see if there’s any RW goss!

Would be tempted to play Timmy over Thomas. We need height against this lot.

Normally I'd call bullshit on stuff like this but this make sense for 2 reasons - we have shit luck on injuries and Rodgers being coy about it.

So you'd play somebody with no match fitness to gain an extra inch or two in height?

I hope there’s no truth in my Vestergaard story, too. His height would be idea on set pieces against a dangerous side. 
 

As for the LB selection, Bowen is quick and direct. Think both could do a job but could argue Thomas is ahead on match fitness.

Also didn't he have this recurring problem at Southampton, which kept out for alot of the time. Extra tall people are known for bone injuries, it's fairly common

 he isn't Andre the Giant mate. He isn't even THAT tall compared to other defenders / goalkeepers.
