‘He’ll have a go back in training’ ………that sort of sounds ridiculous!

like two scans haven’t shown anything so he’s going to have a run about to see if it still hurts!

Weirdo ain't he

Better quote here which makes a lot more sense:

"Hopefully in the midweek he can get back, he wasn’t near anybody, he just overstretched it and felt a soreness in his knee. He’s had a couple of scans and nothing has shown up."

What happens now...

He apparently trains weds. He doesn't, he's ****ed.

None of him in the pics on Thursday. Press conference says he's not ready yet.

Some guy comes on here on Friday to say he's ****ed, he had an injury party at perezs House, maddison somehow involved.

Makes his first start in March.

Wes Morgan and Robert Hugh come back we win the league and everything is right with the world again….something like that anyway

Don’t think he would of made any difference tonight, Antonio would have bullied him just like Traore did last weekend.

West Ham blocked any passes into or through the midfield so we would probably all be hammering him tonight like we have done Soyuncu & Amartey lol

Some good news!

But like other posters have said, the comments are not the clearest. He could have simply said the scans came back fine and he'll be back in training on Wednesday.

I'm reading that as he was injured enough not to play but the scan was clean and they hope he's able to train again on Wednesday. He'll be out for another 2 months then

Reckon i could put in a serious shift.

To get through a game  i need:

-pregame wank

-2L of gatorade water

-portable sideline toilet/portaloo for about 2 or 3 in game urination breaks

post game i need:

-3 spicey aloo paranthas with a chunk of butter on top

-2 cups of yogurt/dahi

-2 cups of cha

-1 ladoo

-2 pints of milk

-full body massage (with a happy ending) for 4 hours by two super sexy women.

If he’s fit Saturday for me he comes in for Soyuncu not Amartey. Never thought I’d see myself type that.

No chance.  Soyuncu has shown he can be very good with a steady hand next to him, you have to ride your luck there.  He might be bad or great, but you know Dan will suck.

The other thing with Vestergaard is he’s very good at distributing from the back, and it’s painfully obvious we’re desperate for that.

Totally agree. For me amartey has take his chance and shouldn't be dropped. Soyuncu has been poor for a while now. I trust amartey more than soyuncu. A statement that seems bizarre, but it's true.

I guess it's too embarassing to admit that we've killed out replacement centre back in training before he even managed to start. So if we just keep dragging it out and don't mention it then maybe people will forget we signed him :D

Soyuncu is fine when he's next to a centre back who knows what he's doing.

I find it hard to believe that a none contact injury that required two scans and requires a “give it a go” in training on Wednesday isn’t serious?

The club have just said, Jannik we’re ****ed you’re playing…..

For the love of christ keep Soyuncu away from other people's vomit.

You know they can't prove whose vomit it was, they don't have the facilities at Scotland Yard.

To be fair, the guy who stood in for him wasn't the problem yesterday, so it's not like his playing would have made much difference.

I'm hoping he will bring some of leadership and the calming influence that we're missing while Evans is out. This is not based on any knowledge of him as a player just hope.
