Sounding like a mild knee sprain for Leicester’s Yannik Vestegaard with a quick turnaround. Becomes a discomfort tolerance issue. Will need to see how he responds to training session(s)

As annoying as it is, if there is any doubt about his injury, however minor, better to not risk him and give him longer to fully recover over the international break. 

 

We can't have another longer-term absentee.

Having listened to the press conference there's a definite whiff of bullshit here. I think he's out for a few months but the club are hoping to get more defensive cover in.

After all his games in the Euro's it feels strange that he's not in the Denmark team. How long is Jaws injured for, think it will be next year before he's seen on the pitch for us, he was always injury prone dunno how he passed the medical, I would have preferred we had gone for Takehiro

....we were looking for an experienced player to be alongside Soyuncu!!!

Takehiro is a good player but too similar to Fofana and we needed a holding CB as except for Evans, all can be rash stepping in to win the ball and we needed calm in the backline.

We should have learnt by now not to sign a current players close friend. Mahrez/Slimani. Soyuncu/Under. Tielemans/Praet. Kasper/Vestergaard.

 

What makes this one worse is we managed to avoid it last year but Fofana's injury saw us panic.
