I have a feeling he'll go for Iheanacho as the Perez replacement and have him sit a bit closer to Vardy to allow for space to Ricardo. It would be great if he can make that position his own, but I suspect it might only work against teams who play deep.

 

Pray to god that Bertrand and Vestergaard are fit. Imagine hearing yourself say that after we beat them 9-0.

I'm hoping Bertrand is fit, he will make a difference and his experience will help Cags. Albrighton will come in for Perez I'm pretty convinced. I'd love for Daka and/or Nacho to start. Will be a different game I feel.

Thoughts on this for Saturday? 
 

Iheanacho gives us more of a threat and can drop into the gap behind Vardy and try to turn. 
 

Maddison there as a sub for the second half to try and open them up if we need him

Dont think there’ll be as many changes as people think. Unsure on Vardy/ Maddison vs Iheanacho/ Daka pairing can see arguments for both. Bertrand should make a difference at the back, looked decent in pre season.

I remember Claudio dropping it on the team something like an hour before k.o. at St Mary's and we were annihilated on the flanks.

Just please freshen things up a bit. We might still have the four horsemen of the apocalypse at the back but in fairness they were given no help by anything in front of them yesterday, and for most of the game against Wolves.

 

Maddison's not had a good game in 6 months. Dropped.

 

Perez obviously suspended.

 

Freshen things up. Soumare for Maddison, happy with Albrighton or even Iheanacho for Perez, as Iheanacho does often drift to the right himself anyway. I'd seriously consider Daka for Vardy too. I just think we need to change a couple of things, become a bit less predictable. Hit them in other ways. We also need to let the likes of Maddison know that his crap displays can't be tolerated.

I wish we were involved in the league cup 2nd round this week so we could get some minutes and the opportunity to impress for the likes of Daka, Iheanacho, Dewsbury-hall, Soumare, Albrighton, Praet and maybe force themselves into the side for this game. 

 

We could probably afford to play a front 2 this game with Albrighton on the wing. But only way I can see Rodgers playing Iheanacho and Vardy is if we go to a back 3.

Norwich have made 10 changes for their game vs Bournemouth, only Rupp started against Man City

Everyone always says this but, did he get a chance to play on his own during his excellent form this year? He could be great there but we will never know.
