Ole is going to get the Watford game so think any talk of a change is premature.

Don't doubt we're looking at alternatives though.

Any ideas who? ; Mancini would be decent

These quotes were before he got them to the CL again and they failed to back him in the market (again) ……maybe he considered that to be extraordinary after assurances he had received. .

fwiw, just as we wouldn’t stand in the way of a player being chased by Bayern or real, we won’t stand in the way of Brendan if yanited want him.

Sounds fair enough.

Surely every club has alternative management options sounded out - players can only move in windows but managers can be gone at the drop of a hat …..

His stats looks decent but Mancini is a far better manager imo.

That’s one opinion.  I like Mancini, for the record, but no way he gives up the Italy job with the roll they’re on.

I'm not sure who it is you support, I've not checked your messages..... But what you're missing here is context.

Losing a 10 point gap, to a weaker side than you, is the exact definition of 'flattering to deceive'.

We were stronger than that Liverpool side last season, yet lost a 10 point lead to a side with two academy kids playing centre back.

I'll keep saying this, until people are able to grasp the simplicity of it, 5th is not a success if you throw away 4th.

The people who keep screaming 'Injuries' this season, to try and attempt to explain our poor form, fail to realise that Soyuncu+Castagne are far better 'back ups' (They're arguably actually 1st choice anyway) to Fofana+Justin than Phillips and Williams are back ups to Van Dijk and Gomez.

If you give someone £1.  ... then ask if they want to flip it to turn it to zero or £2, then most will keep the £1.  To get most to flip you have to offer a chance of zero or £3 if they win.

This shows we dislike losing more than we like winning.

This is why we feel so bad winding up 5th when we had anchored finishing 4th.

Perceived loss weighs heavily.

Afternoon Leicester fans, not here to argue or wind anyone up but as a Utd fan I don’t want Rodgers to manage my club.

not saying he doesn’t have the ability or isn’t a better option than Ole but any Manager who can leave a club where he’s thought so highly of not once but twice shows me he has no integrity or loyalty.

From what I understand an announcement will be made as soon as tomorrow on him leaving and joining Utd and if true I genuinely feel for you as a club and worry for my mine.
All the best for the rest of the season 🙏🏻

Whilst the former would be my first choice also, there's not a cat in hells chance of him giving up on the National team to come here. It's not as if he's got a tin pot dull overhyped side like England.

Tbf Rodgers has been loyal to us, no hard feelings if he leaves as long as you pay up the 20 odd million, which gives us room to bring in a decent calibre replacement.

Trouble is though I’m hoping he doesn’t go but the reports in the Daily Scum are saying he’ll be in for Wilf & Youri and god knows who else if he goes to Manure, so we could end up being managerless and losing some of our quality players?

If Rodgers hoes then I would like potter or lampard.

Hiring either of those would contradict the clubs ambitions. If Rodgers goes, his replacement must be from the very top drawer, otherwise there is no point in allowing him to move. Unless we have a Ten Hag or Mancini lined up to replace him, I'd reject any approach Man Utd make until we do.

If Rodgers has a champions league club release Clause we cannot reject an approach from Manchester United, they part the 20 odd million he goes.

If he has a release clause in his contract and they meet it then there's nothing we can do.

Is there any concrete evidence to support the rumour that he has a release clause? I didn't think the club allowed them in contracts since Kante
