Kind of a unsettling feeling with the UK media and Man U fans speculating on Brendan joining Man U. It's really not ideal for the club, what we need like in our Title winning season is that everyone in the club need to be as they say in the UK  'singing from the same hymn sheet' this includes players, manager, coaching staff, medical staff, recruitment team etc. I get the feeling West Ham currently are, feels like some at Leicester our singing will others are a verse behind or infront while others don't now the words or are out of tune.

Yes, I think you're right. However, for that to happen here, I think that everyone has to believe fully in what's happening in terms of how their team is being managed or run. I think in Leicester's current situation, although the vast majority of  supporters believe in and trust the owners (which is possibly quite unusual for a football club), some, at the same time, aren't quite convinced by the management due to performances on the pitch for quite a long time now, despite previous finishing positions and what certain stats suggest. There is definitely an air of uncertainty and you do wonder whether some of the players are of a similar state of mind? Compared with West Ham, I don't feel that sense of togetherness here anymore.

these are comments batting stuff away. He said that he is staying here until the board tell him he isn’t wanted

Well researched.

If Rodgers goes… can we just get someone in who can organise a defence and teach them how to defend set pieces…

My preference would be Italiano …

I can see this happening fairly quickly in the coming days, hopefully we can get someone decent in.

I'm not saying it won't happen but I think it's more likely to be at the end of the season.

Either someone is leaking information to the Media from Rodgers side or Manchester United are putting pressure on us to make this happen. I think it will get sorted in the coming days imo, Manchester United won’t wait to make a change till the end of the season.

This is nothing at all compared to the Vardy and Mahrez talk from a few years back.

Rumor is that Norwegian chap Solskjær may be available soon.  PL and CL experience.

Moyes isn’t going to get linked to jobs either, as he’s unfashionable and to a degree was hounded out of Manchester United, despite inheriting a relatively  poor team from Ferguson.

Although if Moyes hadn’t already managed Man Utd, people would be falling over themselves to say United should go after Moyes 😅

Brendan has done fantastically well with us in his 2 full seasons with us, two 5th placed finishes and securing our first ever FA Cup has been a superb achievement and rightly so he will always be remembered as being one of our best Managers.

However I have always felt this was a stepping stone and that he would only ever be here for 2-3 years before he moved to take a job at one of the traditional big 6.

Since he joined us he has been strongly linked with Arsenal and Spurs, however the timing of the Arsenal interest which was fairly early in his reign but did result in an improved contract and then with Spurs as they weren’t Champions League meant the release/compensation package was too rich for the deal to happen.

Now it would appear that Utd are sniffing and given the resources they have at there disposal, that they are a Champions League side and Brendan’s ambition to manage one of Europe’s biggest clubs, I really cannot see any other outcome than him moving on.

For me there comes a point where Brendan will lose his motivation, if he does not secure a move soon then I believe that point is very near, there has been no direct quotes but recently newspaper reports have stated he is ready to take the Utd job and also stated he wants the City job, clearly he has eyes and ambitions on where his future lies and if true it would seem he doesn’t see that with us.

I accept we will always be seen as a stepping stone for both ambitious Managers and players alike but I kind of feel with Rodgers, that this has never been seen as more than a 3 year project.

I honestly believe the only reason Ole hasnt been fired as yet is because Brendan is the number 1 target and he is clearly uncomfortable leaving us mid-season however i think Utd will force the issue and make a now or never ultimatum, I will be shocked if Rodgers is still here at the turn of the new year.

Don't torture yourself people with what is being spouted around. If it happens it happens. We would move on to be bigger and better. Personally think it is media rubbish anyway.

Honestly, United will always have a place in my heart if they stop us having to pay compensation for Rodgers and actually make us money by nabbing him from us.

On top the Maguire fee. It would make them our 2nd biggest investors behind king power.

These quotes were before he got them to the CL again and they failed to back him in the market (again) ……maybe he considered that to be extraordinary after assurances he had received. .

fwiw, just as we wouldn’t stand in the way of a player being chased by Bayern or real, we won’t stand in the way of Brendan if yanited want him.

Ole is going to get the Watford game so think any talk of a change is premature.

Don't doubt we're looking at alternatives though.

Sounds more like he worked for dishonest owners/chairman. Which he did. "I need striker cover because Leigh Griffiths can't get fit and Moussa Dembele wants away, and we need a new goalkeeper and an extra defender of quality"

"Okay, here's Jonny Hayes, Scott Bain and Jack Hendry"

"Right, that's me away"

:D

Ranieri will do us a favour and then follow it up by letting us win 5-0 in a few weeks.
