His current missus has a daughter as well, could be her? Likely lives with Brendan.

Yeah true, apparently born 2013

Either way, I don't get all this fuss with Brendo supposedly leaving. Not a single credible source said anything to that extent. The club won't sack him, he deserves patience for what he's achieved with us. We all seemed perfectly able to dismiss any bs stories last summer about Madders to Arsenal because we knew as long as nothing comes from Percy/ Tanner/ other sources close to the club, nothings up. Why can't we behave the same for Brendo

When eventually he does move on (whenever that would be) I’d be interested to see if we could tempt Diego Simeone, a new challenge with a set up not too dissimilar to Atleti.

But I’m not for one minute suggesting I want Rodgers out I don’t, but he will at some stage move on, even if it is in five years.

You gotta be joking. If he leaves it'll be to a massive club.

The only way he leaves us this season is a huge club come for him or we turn to Ranieri levels of shit.

He would be seriously linked if we are needing a new manager. Whether he'd leave Belgium with a World Cup so close but he fits who we'd go for.

...under achieving with Belgium..!!!

Perhaps the best team in the world on paper and struggle to get them into finals. The players at his disposal are at the top of their form and he is unable to make them competitive.

Someone at work has a reliable source that told him Rodgers has taken his kids out of their school. No idea if it's been mentioned already or not but thought I'd stir the pot a bit anyway!

Why would he do that to his (step) daughter? A bit unsettling. Surely you would keep the kids in school with her friends as long as possible to give her stability

Nailed it. You play the system or tactics that are best suited to the players you have at your disposal, with or without injuries and with due regard to the opposition in from of you also. Surely you shouldn't be mackling a team together merely to service a method or philosophy just because in an ideal world you particularly favour it?

Of all the criticisms lobbed at Rodgers, this refrain makes the least sense to me. Show me a manager in the league who’s set his side up in more formations and rejigged his tactics more than Rodgers has since he took over.

You’re replying to a guy on the Internet who’s posting thirdhand information (and I used the word “information” loosely). :P

He may have rejigged his tactics in terms of formations, but quite often to service those formations he's mackled players together into positions they are poor or uncomfortable in when there have been viable alternatives ie Castagne at centre half when Armarty was available or Ndidi there where he's also not great but it served to badly weaken our midfield also. Either way, he still persisted in the same ponderous side to side cautious 352 nonsense usually every first half until he'd change it midway in the second when somehow, miraculously, having gone 4 at the back we'd attack and look vaguely normal.

If Rodgers goes, he's just going around the corner for a pint & packet of crisps..

I am convinced Rodgers "wants";

Project Leicester city...!!

It's just the gullibility of Some FT fans, lapping up the "interesting" also often

beinal immature reporting, & putting, seeing more into the picture of it all, than there is..

Rodgers has Cooley, softly  stated several times and with intent he likes the Leicester project.

But we are all too cynical and rather believe any type of gossip & rumour

I periodically look for a remotely reliable source re BR to United and then realise that there isn’t one

Been a few paragraphs where McManaman has stated he won’t get the Utd job because of his previous links with Liverpool,  but that didn’t stop Rafa from going to Everton?

I don’t think Rodgers will go to Manure not only because he’s stated before he’s happy here but he’s waiting for the Man City job to come up when Pep leaves, all this BR to Manure talk is just lazy Bull SH I T journalism every time a manager is sacked who’s first on the list ?

Really surprised that the gutter press haven’t linked Rodgers with the Villa job !

Private school around the corner invoked the buyout clause …..kid was happy to leave so nothing Brendan or his missus could do about it …..

The more I watch Eddie Howe I am more impressed by him , talks sense.  Can’t help but feel a bit envious.  He’ll prove he’s pedigree to be big .

Ah let's hire him because of how he talks as opposed to any managerial qualities then!

Surely you are joking? Simeone would only join an elite club.

Very polished and media friendly which the latter and their ego's really love. Bullshit baffles brains.

Jesus, if people think we can't defend under Rodgers, they would love this guy; 330 conceded in 190 games at 1.73 goals per game.

Rodgers is 322 in 257 games at 1.25 goals per game for comparison.

Where?

Show me a reputable media outlet publishing it please.

This account has a blue tick, 717k followers and is followed by prominent sports journos.

It doesn’t mean that they and the report they refer to can’t be barking up the wrong tree, though.
