This is what BR said in his interview with RL

Well if he has lost it the players need to hang there heads In shame we have seen this before and it is ****ing disgrace that certain players are doing this.rodgers also has to take the blame for the way he has set up the team not addressing the zonal marking and set pieces.this leaves a bitter taste in my mouth

It's crazy to think how far we have come really since we were promoted to the Premier League. We are all sat here today frustrated and disappointed that we didn't beat a top of the table Chelsea team.

Nobody is this.

But it's the lineup, the tactics, the slow sideways football, the inability to defend both in general and set pieces, the lack of chances up front.

It isn't the losing that bothers me, I wouldn't be to upset with a loss today if we had lost 3-2 and put up a proper fight.  They are a massive club at the end of the day. But it's how we have lost AGAIN that hurts me. We could have easily lost 6-0 and it's so depressing to watch. We have no fight at all. The players look lost and I think Brendan is out of ideas.

Totally under performing for the players we have.

Everybody is this.

Lot of talk about Rodgers.

However a lot of the players need to take a look at themselves, some dreadful performances.

How can you put in a proper performance when you can’t ever get comfortable in a setup? How often do we try a 3-4-3? And Rodgers decided to play that against the champions of Europe who have mastered that formation.

We were missing our most important midfielder and Rodgers handled that throwing Soumare out there without any extra support, in a two-man midfield, against N’Golo Kante’s Chelsea. I seem to remember Rodgers saying he’d be very careful about how he played Soumare this season.

I didn’t expect a result but there was absolutely no chance for anything other than a thrashing with he way we set up today.

Has to accept we can't do zonal marking. I know were mossing fof and jj but I can't imagine things magically improving even with them back.

Midfield was invisible and the press was basically just vardy

We finished level on points with them last season. Burnley drew to them away in their previous game. Making out they're some kind of unstoppable force is horseshit.

To try and match up Chelsea on 2 or 3 days training was gross negligence from Rodgers. We CANNOT play a back 3 without either Fofana or Justin in there as both will bring the ball out 20 or 30 yards turning defence into attack.

We tried to play a system that needs a Tielemans without a player close to being capable of filling the role.

Castagne plays LWB for Belgium all the time but he offered us nothing going forward always running into blind alleys or simply not being available.

The first goal was all on KASPER, took a terrible touch played a worse pass to Evans that was uncontrollable they then win a throw and a corner from that.

However we all know that everyone targets our near post so where are all our tall defenders? Still at the back post…

Second goal Soumare gets done but Evans HAS to step out to Kante.

Third goal Kasper should be saving it.

Nacho made no difference Maddison at least had some shots and put a nice ball in. We had Wilf, fresh back from injury having been on international duty but leave him on, when he was clearly knackered and take Soumare off?

Rodgers, I think, is losing the players with hisconstant chopping and changing of systems

Some tit in front of me moaned at Maddison for when Albrighton was in the RB position and played a ball in to the midfield, as if Maddison was meant to miraculously magic himself to where a shit misplaced ball was meant to go lol

Lack of composure and intensity in our midfield has put our defenders under immense pressure since beginning of the season.

I bet playing Mendy today would make a difference as he would go toe to toe with Kante whom absolutely dominated the midfield entire game.

We shouldn't get rid of Mendy at all.

I believe he is the missing link...

Doesn't excuse the lack of effort and running.

A system doesn't stop you been able to control a ball.

I'm Rodgers out now. He hasn't got a clue how to turn this around. We need new ideas.

We need new players. Not strengthened the starting 11. Daka - sub, Bertrand - sub, vestergaard - sub, Soumare - jury’s still out on him for me

We were blessed to have Kante for that 1 season. He's at Beckenbauer/Cruyff levels.

That horse has well and truly bolted.

Hard to believe that as recently as the end of last season we blew a great chance to finish in the top 4 above Chelsea. Our regression since then is truly frightening. Very good players are looking really poor.

The continuing switching of formation and personnel has resulted in a complete mess.

We could easily be in the bottom 6 if we keep playing this way.

Even if we were at the top of our game today we would’ve lost. They’re a brilliant side and they wanted it more than us.

But we were terrible. Only troubled Mendy from distance. Didn’t win any second balls. Didn’t press, couldn’t put anything together. We seemed scared to have a go. The subs made little impact and it was still cautious then even coming out 2-0 down. What else did we have to lose?

We were never gonna catch them out playing balls over the top. When they cleared it we had no one to pick the ball up because the midfield were too deep. We just seemed to invite pressure on ourselves throughout the game. We didn’t get any of the bounce. We dragged our best player on the day at half time. A poor day at the office all round. A helping hand in each of their goals with absolute shoddy defending. We also set up with three centre halves against a team that didn’t have a striker on the pitch.

Chilwell was brilliant today and as I said when he left we would miss him. It’s a shame that he’s lost that bit of class since moving to Chelsea.

....if we were at the top of our game Chilwell and James would have been too busy, looking over their shoulders to keep getting at our backline!!!

Let us not start talking about this Chelsea team like we have about Man. City, they are beatable, we were just not at the races again today.

Big surprise to see Albrighton introduced after being so long out, Thomas must surely have been an option on the left, but deemed not good enough.

Never tracked Rudiger for the first, everyone backed off the little magician for the second, Evans ball watching for the third. Chelsea mullered us in every dept today, we couldn't cope with their press which made our passing hurried and wayward. We have defended corners in the same inept way all of this season.

Just to top it all off Brendan looks like a broken man.

It does when you’re not sure where to be and don’t already know where your teammates are.

Today wasn’t about effort and running.

We tried to do something that the opposition does better than anyone else in the world and tried to do it with almost no time to work on it.

Apparently first half Lookman was an 8 and Barnes was supposed to be up with Vardy. Clearly Barnes didn't get the memo. Seems like the players are not getting BR or are just ignoring him.

Exactly, they're both wingers albeit I think lookman may be able to play as a 10
