UFS have put big hours into a display on the Kop which should help set the tone, hopefully we'll get something back from the players this time.

Have the club helped?

Excited to see it nonetheless.

Legia fans will be the best we've ever had on Filbert Way by a distance. Easy to say it online but everyone really does need to play their part in this.

Looking forward to seeing it.

Let all get behind the lads

I think we all go to games wanting to sing and shout our support. Trouble is, all the best intentions inevitably evaporate when we fall two goals down early (Arsenal and Chelsea) or laboriously and predictably circulate the ball from side to side trying to penetrate a packed defence (Spartak).

Give us something to sing and shout about - with pace, energy, commitment and shots at goal - and we will!

Probably be close to sub zero in the second half…. So you can guarantee if things aren’t going well people are going to get pissed of sharpish lol

That is weak. Even if the performances are bad, the support can still go out there to make the stadium hell for the opposition, especially for a European game.

Legia have had a terrible season domestically but their fans were going to show up against us no matter what.

...if you notice, even the low attendance of OHL away fans sing all the way through games, whether they are winning or losing!!!

It is very much a European thing, United also goes on all game. Sometimes what is being sung bares no resemblance to what is happening on the pitch.

We sing when you're smiling, so you're probably right.

Rainieri used to do what Conte did yesterday - urge the crowd to be more vocal when it went quiet. Brendan could do himself a lot of good by following suit because its a way of saying ”You matter, you can change things..” - a good way to mend fences. I can also think of times when the sound suddenly picked up for no real reason and you could see the players responding.

Thought the Napoli home game was very lively and a throwback to our Champions League nights.

Need to start with some intensity here. Get a couple of early crunching tackles in, get the crowd off their seat

It shouldn't needing doing though. It's faintly embarrassing when players make the "come on!" gesture at times when the crowd should blatantly be showing a bit of enthusiasm.

We're facing a team of immense European pedigree. We're lucky to be playing such a team and the result is immaterial. A reward for our over achieving!

Im sure it'll be a carnival atmosphere as the crowd bask in the glory of our illustrious manager who had the ability to drag this team of also-rans and journeymen into European football.

VIVA LA RODGERS

Agreed.

Although i'll make my apologies already if i'm quiet on Thursday, i'm not sure i'll be able to handle it, these European giants coming to town mixed with our mindblowing electric football, I think i'll just be sat there open mouthed in awe of what i'll be seeing.

Fair play that’s the spirit.

I ****ing hope not. That tinfoil shite on massive sticks was the most annoying thing they’ve ever produced… ruined the whole first game lol

Has anyone seen that new chant doing the rounds? Something like “big strong big strong big strong Leicester boys”?

Sounds like something from the Rainbow and Dove….
