I didn't see any unrest from their fans so this is heavily caveated but I thought their fans were great. Lively and entertaining.

Better. Nowhere near the finished article and in truth I think we'll have to improve to get a result even Sunday, but we got what we needed.

I was at the match today and some big polish fella was shouting "Chilwell is kuntus" but he was 20 seats away so I didn't say anything.

Pathetic you should’ve at least shook his hand

God knows what some of you were watching we were defensively solid and they never looked like scoring

They had a period in the first half where we were defensively shakey. Perhaps a better opponent wouldve scored. The bit where their winger beat Amartey in the box and squared it. The flicked header at the near post (again) was cleared by Soy.

Second half we were far better.

Attacking we were good and scored 3 good goals but defensively at times we still looked weak and it was disappointing when we were cruising  at 2-0 to give away a soft penalty. It was also concerning how easily they ran through our midfield in the first half. Overall though a better performance and the result we needed but Legia are absolutely dreadful and we will need to play better to beat Watford.

we look so much more balanced, comfortable and confident in that system.

Amartey, Thomas, and the midfield were particularly pleasing performances

Was at the game and so many positives.

While we were better going forward first half, we were much more solid second half. Legia Warsaw only had one great chance in the game and that was from the penalty. It was a really professional performance.

I think 4 at the back worked much better - there is no passing the buck with 3 CBs, Castagne is on his preferred side and Thomas looks more comfortable at left back. Soyuncu looked to take on more responsibility, telling Amartey where to pass the ball.

Soumare and Ndidi worked well as a pair, with the former tiring as the game went on. KDH looked bright when he came on, despite a few misplaced passes.

My concerns were how Lookman defended and how exposed Thomas was in the first half. Lookman had a few bright attacking moments but he gave a few fouls away and positionally he left a hole in the right-central part of the team that Soumare couldn’t cover.

I’m not Perez’s biggest fan but he showed, albeit in a central position, how to press and keep the ball in tight positions. I would prefer him to start instead of Lookman as I think we’ll be more solid. Thomas defended better second half (having attacked well in the first) and Soyuncu covered him well too.

I agree about starting Perez over Lookman. Many won't agree with me as many just don't like Perez but for me, if we have Perez on the right where Lookman was, he can come inside more and allow Castagne free run down the right. Castagne is great at getting up and down whereas Thomas is better when he has Barnes to look for in front of him. Perez does work hard for the team and I know he can be frustrating at times but he can do a job for us pressing high up and trying to keep the ball in tight spaces like you say. Also Lookman is more of a threat off the bench than Perez is as his pace can really frighten tired defenders late in games. Either way, we 100% need to stick with this formation for Sunday but Evans in for Amartey, KDH in for Soumare, Perez in for Lookman and Vardy in for Daka.

Lookman was playing really narrow on the right anyway, Castagne had plenty of room he just didn't use it, unlike Riccy he seems really reluctant to driver forward with the ball

Whether it is Europa League or Conference League, that win confirms at least some form of European knockout football for February!

Goals:

1-0 - Daka 11'

2-0 - Maddison 21'

2-1 - Mladenovic 27'

3-1 - Ndidi 33'

that sneaky block and turn Daka did was top level striker work. Decent finish aswell

great header by Ndidi but their defending made our defenders all look like VVD

If Legia and Spartak draw, we would still go through even if Napoli beat us. Get a draw with Napoli and we are guaranteed to go through. Beat Napoli and we are guaranteed to win the group and avoid playing a 3rd placed champs league team. Napoli don't seem to care about this tournament and Osimhen is a huge loss for them.

Police on the ground did what they could. Let down by out of touch commanders. Should never, ever have been in stand with no helmets on. No good having them clipped to your belt.

Theyve dropped a massive bollock 2/3 European games.

The commanders will need to take this as a lesson. Sadly we easily could have been in a situation worse than yesterdays if their fans wanted it to be.

The video of them booting a copper in the head several times states their intent clearly. We are far, far too soft. Desperate to come across with this family friendly nonsense and gentle policing approach.

Just had a look at the rules:

Leicester beat Napoli - we win the group and go to last 16

Leicester draw - We win the group if Spartak Moscow fail to win otherwise second and into last 32

Leicester lose - We get second if it's a draw and third and into the Conference tournament if there is a winner in the Legia vs Spartak match.

Dare I say it? We looked well coached.

I thought it was quite easy to spot and that was most encouraging especially with the players available on the pitch.
We need to take that understanding into the next game on Sunday.

Happy to be in the competition but this morning it just feels like we got a comfortable win against Rochdale in the Coca Carling Cup. We’ve really had to go some to lose to Legia in the first game and draw with Spartak at home.

Good win Barnes and Maddison looked good, but our defense can look a bit keystone cops at times!  Also are Ndidi and Soumaré playing a double pivot, because there were times in the first half both of them were too far forward and we looked too easy to counter.

A competent performance. Daka was pleasingly sharp to score the opener. Maddison's goal was reminiscent of that Mahrez goal against Chelsea. Warsaw allowed us time to recover from errors and wayward ball control, and didn't subject us to the intense press that PL opponents capitalise on. The great atmosphere fended off the cold, which only hit me outside the stadium.
