For me, Barnes and Maddison have to play.  They give us an X factor.

If Barnes plays, we need to play with 4 at the back.  Several positions then pick themselves.

Schmeichel, Castagne, Evans, Soyuncu, Ndidi, have to play.

If Castagne isn't fit, with injuries, Amartey would be needed at RB ( I can't see VDC developing into a Premier League player).  There is a choice  at left back, Thomas or Bertrand .

Without Tielemans, KDH or Soumare.

CF, Vardy will almost certainly play but Sake is pushing him.

On the right, Lookman or Albrighton.

If Barnes plays, Iheanacho probably won't start.  Personally, although he has been much better recently, I don't rate Perez highly enough for him to start.

Our injury list is worrying.  The squad needs another wide player for balance.

I find it betwattling that there are posts saying Ranieri is not a good manager.

It sums some aspects of the forum up:  the legendary manager who took 5,000-1 underdogs to their only top flight win is not very good.  Doing well at several clubs in different countries makes no difference!

I suspect that only Ranieri would have delivered the title.  He worked brilliantly with what he had at his disposal.  He will have a plan today, making Watford a worrying proposition.

Respect the legend.

Spot on.

I'm not sure if some people think it just fell into his lap or compare with the following season.

He was the one that got that legendary team together, that motivated them, that got the tactics and substitutions spot on nearly every week and changed the team from one that leaked goals to a stubborn resilience with a plethora of 1 - 0.

We can all have different opinions but if yours is one that devalues Claudio then I really don't see where you're coming from.

What's the weather like there? Travelling up from Bristol, no snow here and quite sunny. Did it snow much in Leic near the ground?

No mate just a tickle, all slush now

Here's my team:

                        Kasper

Tim.   Big Dan.   Cags.   Thomas

              KDH.       Ndidi

                     Maddison

            Daka.    Nacho     Vardy

Moth watering front 3.

Barnes and Lookman on the bench If needed.

We would get swamped in midfield.

It’s really really really weird. No one in history has fluked or accidentally won a league. Especially not with a team like Leicester. What he did that year was a phenomenon. He may not be a Pep or Ferguson but he’s a top manager. And he pulled off the greatest feat in football history. That year, he played absolutely everything absolutely right. He schooled everyone.   To quote Sharon Stone in The Quick and the Dead “today I am”. X

Excellent use of betwattling, and I get your point but Ranieri has been very hit and miss over his managerial career his biggest hit was obviously 2016 there are more misses than hits. Despite beating an inept Man U I don't think he is a managerial genius who can polish that Watford turd into something we should fear. Great to see him at the KP again, but we shouldn't be fearing this Watford team with or without Ranieri.

Missing this due to covid but hope Ranieri gets the respect and accolade he deserves.

Cant believe people are questioning  his legacy at the club.

Give him a fantastic reception and then give them a damn good pasting!!

None left at all, but it’s meant to snow during the match.

I’d love to see that front 3. Could be a game changer

Really hope Daka starts

I feel he is ready now mostly vs teams like Watford.

Loved how he got us the early goal vs Warsaw, took a lot of pressure off us.

... I  would think that having had the amount of time on Thursday, Vardy would be the choice upfront!!!
