Not that I would call Albrighton a nasty b*****d in any way but I was impressed with his feistiness today.  He was yelling at his team mates, having a "chat" with the ref at the end.  Frustration i guess but nice to see the passion from him.

Relic of a squad that had character in abundance.

Given the trouble some people seem to have guessing a five letter word, a seven letter word is going to be a real push - even with a 2 letter start. God I hate Wordle.

Oh shit. Wordle its de rigueur. I'm out.

I think you need a few with this, maybe 3/4, not even necessarily nasty but just people with enough about them to know when to take the hit. The second goal v Spurs in particular was everything with us encapsulated.

Said this for two or three years.

We're a mentally weak side. Concede one and we look like conceding 3. There isn't a backbone in any of them.

Evans is the closest we have but he's still not the sort to dish out the verbals for a bad pass or poor decision. The players we have look like they're happy to play FIFA on their Xboxstaions with players that have just played them off the park an hour before. I dislike Jordan Henderson with a passion but I wish we had someone like that to b0ll0ck some of the sloppy play we've seen in the past two games. Trouble is, I have no idea where you buy such a leader.......

Btw never ever got the Benalouane love. He was overly aggressive to compensate that he was plain shit

Plain shit is harsh. 2017 he marked Griezmann out of the Atletico game and was heroic in a few games around that too. Lost his way after that and had more batshit moments than iconic ones.

Never a fan of goalkeepers as captain , might be the first time we have ever had that . At the moment though , we have no obvious candidate to take the job. It won't be the only time though that a new signing has come straight in as captain. Jordan Henderson is very often the reason that Liverpool get over the line even though his talent is less than many of his teammates. Rodgers has said he wants a leader on the pitch but he has done nothing about it.

We are missing Morgan’s influence. He is not nasty, but he was obviously a massive leader. This season is the first in years he’s not been in the dressing room.

He’s a bit of a nice guy but I’d give it to Youri he really Marshalls midfield yells at the others gets the job done, could be the bargaining chip to stop him leaving ?

No nastiness in this side they're proper soft. KDH and Thomas are the two only 2 who really have that fire within them and they're 2 of the least senior players at the club. Vardy is a lot more reserved in his older years now but you can't blame him, aggression and sticking it on defenders was his game as he broke into the team but times change.

Our old back 4 of Fuchs, Morgan, Huth and Simpson would've scared the sh1t out of teams. They probably laugh about Soyuncu in the changing rooms.

I'm not sure a 'nasty b-stard' will solve a huge amount, but I do think KDH has some genuine steel to him, and he could go far.

Hamza used to be this kind of player (I still rate him a lot more than others on here) but he has become more cautious over the last 18 months.

I think we have players who have what we need in the team but Rodgers won't let them grow into that of course because he's soft, softer than pillows. What i want is someone that is a real leader out there, that's willing to get physical aggressive and acertive when needed. If there's a bad var call, call it out! If we're getting pushed around, raise your voice to the ref! Don't let opposition players out physical us and stomp on us. I'm not wanting a fighter with violence but someone who's hard mentally and physically. We're weak minded mentally because of Rodgers as well. We need a midfielder ideally like this. We're push overs mainly bc of Rodgers
