 Good to see him back if true. Excellent option off the bench as he works his way back into form. Daka and the rest look to be starting to gain an understanding that is a benefit for the future of this club.  It'd hate to see that be taken lightly. Vardy has to earn his place back.

Meh. Vardy was great and showing he still had it this season. Was only 2nd to Salah in the PL scoring charts when he got injured.

 

Daka has done well, but Vardy is still clearly the superior player and doesn’t really have to earn any place back for me. He’s still our best player and the first name on the team sheet when fully fit.

Just the lift he will give the team not just in pre-match training but on the field and in the changing room. You know he’s a serial winner and doesn’t like to surrender. He’s a fighter and right now all the players need that fighting mentality till the end spirit.

oh and defenders will have something to worry about again as opposed to camp out in our half looking to win headers. Play the high line at their peril. Cmon Vardy!!!  :clap:

I’m not sure if I detect a hint of sarcasm here. I’m a big Daka fan but he’s been pretty abysmal in our last 3 games (West Ham, Randers, Wolves) …

I think lone strikers in his and Vardys position do things off the ball that make others around them better.

Making runs, intensity of pressing, hold up play

Vardy is excellent at those things and deserves to start if he's back to his best. Just don't want to see Vardy starting over Daka until he's ready. Very happy to see Vardy coming on at 60 or 70 to create havoc for the rest of the match.
