Castagne had another injury, alongside his thigh thing?

Quality player but seems so injury prone.

...the shoulder problem was an ongoing situation!!!

He has had it for some time now, before he came to us this was an issue for him. Why it has taken so long to pin the shoulder when we have had the summers to do so, is once again poor judgment by the club.

He had issues with his shoulder for a while, sure we’ve put it back in drawing a game before.

If you are in your 20s and you dislocate your should it’s is more likely to happen again.

Like Jordan Stewart always used to do!

In the summer, he played Belgium's first Euro game before his cheekbone break. So was mid-June until we would have had chance.

Suspect the assessment was that given Justin and Ricardo's injury problems, they didn't want to length his summer anymore than necessary.

In relation to the 1st team?

I read as 23s too but you read as first team. We shall see, would love it if he got minutes tonight, hoping to watch the 23s game tonight.

While looking at Fofana training I couldn't help but think this might be the best CB pair.

Good call that . The blue dummy thing looks more mobile and tactically aware than a certain tall Danish international ( Not Kasper)

....not sure @Ric Flairwas alluding to the possibility of him being ready for the first team!!!

He was just clarifying the question you were asking. Rodgers was referring to getting him game time via the U23s and frustrated that their games (U23s) were few and far between.

Having Vardy back will be a boost, think people forget the fear factor his has for other teams.

9 goals in 16 PL games this season, if he scores on Tuesday he will be joint 4th in this seasons top scorers list.

He maybe getting on, but has been a massive miss.

he actually fit? or Brendan's fit?

Youri and Maddison are too lightweight? They've been part of one of the best midfields in the league over the last few years prior to this season. They also produce over 20 goals a season between them.

Well they're not this season and we currently need in form players, not historically good one's. Tielemans, as much as I like him isn't producing and we can't keep waiting all game for the one good pass or shot. He's never been the greatest of defensive players but has other attributes that make up for it. He will come good again either for us or someone else but,  with just 6 points above the relegation zone and a weakened defence, now is the time for a bit more aggression and protection for them imo. Ndidi, if left by Rodgers to do what he does best, with KDH to assist and drive forward with Maddison to do what he does best, then I think there's a good sound recipe for some success there. What we don't need is a half hearted Tielemans loping around giving the ball away and adding little of use. I'd sooner have Choudhury or Mendy there. We haven't the time to wait for players to come back into form.

Not just his goals and his hustling and rustling but alsp his presence.  He is a leader by example and I think just him being there will lift the team.

Imagine if we had a fully fit squad in April and May (minus Evans), it would be a miracle. Sure someone else will get injured in the next few games though...

Yeah you're right BUT we could have a pretty strong team/squad for the Conference run in IF we can get past Rennes.  Would be great to finish 9th & Euro final.

Ndidi is having the poorer season out of him and Tielemans and that's our biggest issue. Opting to play KDH instead of Tielemans hasn't made us any better defensively before Xmas I don't recall and going forward there's still nobody more devastating at unlocking the opposition than Tielemans, his pass for Lookman's goal vs Wolves will be credited as an Albrighton assist but no other player than Tielemans provides us with that opening. It's a real tricky one how we get Ndidi back to his colossal self.

I'm not against dropping Youri by the way if it would help but I'm not so sure it will. That's why the diamond is probably our best option right now ad KDH also is integral to us.

We've all done it

Ashley Cole came up with this one as a summariser a couple of years ago. It’s called “not doing your research “
