Popular Post An Away Move Posted 17 March 2022 Popular Post Posted 17 March 2022 Would be sad to see him go. Especially his pace. People forget how slow our back line was before Soyuncu. 8

Winsum Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 Real Madrid prepared to offer £38 million according to the MercuryÂ

turlo Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 This rumour came out of Turkey. no idea how reliable it is  https://www.fanatik.com.tr/caglar-soyuncuden-turk-futbol-tarihine-gececek-imza-2278388
Popular Post An Sionnach Posted 23 April 2022 Popular Post Posted 23 April 2022 Too many on here think with Fofana we can do without. Caglar has been off his game for a while there is no doubt about that but even in solid form he is high class and at his best is outstanding. Be careful what you wish for. 8
coolhandfox Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 I would drive him all the way to Madrid for 38m. 2

Don’t know what Soyuncu you’ve been watching this year.  Absolutely sell at 38M!!! 1
majaco Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 Soyuncu is our third best centre back. But it would probably be in our best interests to sell him, Amartey and Vestegaard and sign two quality cbs  Â

Much rather take £38m this season and have an opportunity to reinvest rather than lose him for nothing the following summer 5
scinnell Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 If this is true, I could then see truth in the Torino centre back rumours

adejo92 Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 £38 Million......For Soyunchu.....  Yes Please.  He's not the worst, but he's far from good enough if we want to be looking at European places next season. Far too clumsy and lack any composure.
Grebfromgrebland Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 He won't be easy to replace despite what everyone is saying on here. Â It's amazing how people forget 2 fifth place finishes so quickly and his confident defending for much of that. Â We're not the big attraction we were and will be lucky to get a replacement as good without taking a massive gamble. 1

We are going to have to be realistic here, a reliable ,experienced CB to replace Caglar will not be cheap and will demand well over over £5 million a year. Will he be as good? I don't know but there is a risk. Tarkowski could replace him but there is going to be a bidding war and we will lose for sure.

If not we’re short on back up again.Â

If he doesn't want to sign a contract we have little choice, we can't afford to let players leave on a free. Â We have been pretty good at signing centrebacks in recent years, Maguire, Evans, Soyunuc and Fofana. Â With only a couple of poor ones Benkovic and VesterguarrdÂ
