Absolutely buzzing for this! Got a horrible feeling Jose will completely try and stifle this game making it as dull as possible using every time wasting, s*ithousing tactic in the book.

They do have a capitulation in them though so hopefully we can grab an early goal and put the pressure on them. Taking a lead back to their place would be huge!

Game is wide open….Smalling and Abraham wouldn’t get into United or Chelsea’s team currently….and Serie A isn’t as strong as the Premier league….it would be fantastic to take a lead to Italy….come on Vards, one more time…..

Pretty sure the team bus was driven over by the driver on his own as the bus doesn't fly. Once Roma arrive (probably tomorrow afternoon), said bus will pick them up from the airport and drive them to hotel/stadium etc.

That genuinely made me laugh far more than it should have done!

Me too 😂

Obvious but brilliant 👏

Mourinho has lost his spark since leaving Man Utd.

Haven’t they had quite a long winning streak recently? I think they have been bang in form. His head to head v Rodgers is also a little bit scary. We might have to come from behind to win this which could suit us as we seem better at chasing games than defending leads. Let’s see.

lost their first game in ages at the weekend but was against inter - had been on a long unbeaten run

strange not to have any opposition fans in here ……  clearly Roma too big for that!

Not sure what his record is vs Rodgers, but I’m pretty sure Rodgers won their last meeting.

He did and it was the type of complete control of a football match that he is obsessed with. They barely had a sniff and we scored from a penalty and an own goal but to be fair did create a few other decent chances to but 2nd half it was so so boring.

....it seemed like he had lost his spark before he got there, it was never the right fit for club or manager!!!

He’s got them in 5th place and in a European semifinal with Tammy Abraham leading the line. Sounds like the best fit they could ever have.

This should go hand in hand with our inability to capitalise on any good early play we ever create.

No good us holding onto a 1 or 2 goal lead .

Personally struggling to see how we score from open play against these.

Is it that bad?

Bodo put how many past them in 4 games? Others have scored alot against them too.

Positive Lako. Positive.

Yep fair enough.

It's just having watched us be so toothless against 3 absolute abject sides in the PL recently I can't imagine us breaking a JM team down, an Italian one at that.

Considering the squad he had I think he did an amazing job at Utd.

We should have got more out of our last three matches that’s for sure. Our conversion rate was poor and we seemed to lack urgency and focus at times. The most frustrating thing is we know the teams we put out in those lacklustre matches were capable of gaining nine points. I firmly believe we will see a much more focused and intense performance in the Roma matches though. It is unknown territory of course but I feel it won’t be for the lack of effort if we don’t get through.

I can’t wait for this though and I feel the team will do us proud. I fancy 2-0 tomorrow and no I haven’t been drinking.
