Meh. Annoying but the league season is dead. It’s all about the semi-final.

That was a bit bob really wasn't it.

 

It's hard to single out the good from the bad, just a general bang average performance. 

 

It's a nothing game, in a nothing season which does subdue the anger and disappointment. 

 

At the end of the day, there were a lot of changes, and this wasn't our best 11.

Subs were wank - didn’t need to change it with Barnes and Maddison and the two that went off far more effective than the two that came on. 
 

We’re involved in so many dreary games and that second half was the ultimate example, no ambition, no risks taken.

 

And the two centre halves are a complete waste of time. Second goal epitomised the pair of them. Soyuncu wandering around following Gayle and not seeing the real danger was the centre of the goal, Amartey piss timid as ever closing the ball down

Numb to these kinds of games. No determination, Daka not doing anything at all, take off Lookman & Perez who were arguably the better players. Thomas & Justin both should've been subbed at some point... And then the classic naive last few minutes to round it off. Half arsed.

Weren't physical enough today. They were stronger in the tackle for the most part.

 

Maybe a foul at the end? Ref. clearly saw it, so must have thought six of one...

Tbf there’s 3 first team players on the pitch for us there in the starting line up. 
 

Moronic last 30 seconds but we did fine. Bit disappointed with the lack of ambition going forwards, but this season is done domestically.

Brendan twa##y balls again. Just go two up top in a dead rubber and try and win. The man infuriates me. He is becoming a cup manager where he has no choice but to attack.
