Funny what bugs people.  So many things about modern football annoy me, such as simulation, argy bargy at corners and the sheer corruption within the game, but I couldn’t give a toss about goal celebrations.

I just cringe at any footballer with a trademark goal celebration tbh. Certainly doesn't make me angry, just makes them look like a complete dork.

Better that than the choreographed ones that one or two players do between themselves because you just know that they spent time in training going over it.

It occurs to me that the last time I watched even a single minute of an England game was the 2024 euros final. 
 

I literally have zero enthusiasm for this upcoming tournament. It’s the 3rd World Cup in a row going to a country (US not Canada and Mexico) who shouldn’t be hosting such a major event. 
 

Add to that the kick off times which are crap for someone like myself who is an early riser for work. 
 

I thought was the hosts were announced it’d be a decent tournament but now we are here, I will be giving it a miss.

Just got back from Australia 5 - 1 Curaçao, and I’ve got to say I don’t know how Curaçao have qualified for the World Cup, that was an abysmal performance against a not fantastic Australian side.

I think they’ll prove to be the worst side ever to play at a World Cup.
