I would say most of the first half was a shambles, can tell Leuven are a lot further in their pre-season as they were a lot fitter and quicker but the individual mistakes and defensive sloppiness just made it even worse

Seems like Rodgers might have given the lads a bit of a bollocking at half time as the first 11 were much better in the 15 minutes they played in the 2nd half

2nd 11 were doing alright and controlling the game until an Amartey brain fart

Good to see a lot of players get plenty of game time, and we didn't concede from a corner!

A pretty fun match to watch as well

Rather play a match like this against a team further into their pre-season than a waste of time piss-about against San Marino u19s like some of you sound like you'd prefer

Kelechi can be so frustrating... One day he bangs one out of nowhere, takes Messi-esque touches, holds up play well and then other days you'd rather not have him on the pitch

Entertaining at least. Praet can still play a roll this season if we play with 2 8's and a physical CDM behind.

I don't know how many times it needs to be repeated but the club would be happy to keep Praet as a squad player.

Praet however doesn't want to be a squad player, hence he's looking for a move.

Enjoyed the game (albeit missed 1st 20mins.) Cannot really take much from it tbh.. pre-season and lots of changes, but Nacho and Albrighton looked sloppy, even more so than normal.

Praet had a great game and you forget how progressive he can be,  shame he isnt content to be a squad player. We see, maybe none come in for him at a price we are willing to sell and he does remain with us next season. Hope so, he raises the LCFC good looks factor.

Thought Perez did ok (ok kill me now) but he does have a tendancy to find space in every game, just a shame his final touch can be a bit meh.

All in all a decent run out. Great to see the youngsters get some mins too, Braybrook seems like he can for sure step up.

With Praet maybe a season out the EPL and playing in Italy....if that was or was not a success makes him a more focused on bettering himself if he stays here.

Can think of other players like Kevin De Bruyne who after a poor season went abroad and then came back brilliant players.

Praet has had four seasons in Italy at mid table clubs, that's his level. Today was a decent showing against his home town club, nothing to go overboard over.
