Just noticed Sevilla are playing Arsenal 12:30 the day before

Wonder what sort of teams they'll be putting out.

edit: just to add, Arsenal are also apparently charging £30 a ticket

I imagine they do similar to us last saturday? 2 11s all getting 90?

Clashes with the Lionesses final.

Think I'll watch us. Watched the semi final tonight, first game I've watched and not massively impressed.

I'll watch us and probably switch to the women's final after the first red card tackle by a Sevilla butcher.

Wife wanted to watch the semi final yesterday just to check how pretty  the Swedish ladies are. Needless to say she was very disappointed even though I've had warned her that she's in for a big disappointment. 😀

How many times are they going to email about this game?!

None. I’ve never opted out but I never get marketing from the club. It’s not in spam either, they never write - it’s like they don’t care.

I've got a ticket for the game, but would rather be watching the Women's Euro's Final.

Maybe they can put that on the big screen so we can watch both at the same time

Women kick-off at 5pm so you can watch the first half before our match.

A couple of fresh faces and I might just  have been tempted.

6pm on a Sunday evening is an awful time  and clashing with the lionesses game means I’ll probably just watch it on my tablet.

I'd have liked to see us trial the diamond this pre-season because without any changes to our squad and a lack of wingers, I think there's going to be periods of the season where playing two up top will be of real benefit to us.

I think Callum Wright playing as the RCM with KDH LCM and Maddison as the ACM and Ndidi or Soumare as DCM would be something to consider. Wright being the Wildcard to see how he gets on but if Praet doesn't leave then he's the ideal player for this system thst at times exposed Tielemans when we did play it.

If you're putting Soumaré in that system, he's not the holding midfielder he's the RCM.

He's very similar to KDH in style, ball progression by very direct carrying, just off the opposite foot.

If Soumaré consistently had the work rate and confidence KDH shows then KDH, Ndidi, Soumaré would be a really strong, lung busting midfield.
