I am not too worried about Youri, he's probably not starting due to all the uncertainty and stuff but I still think he'll be here come the start of the season.

 

Kasper, on the other hand, I think his departure is all but officially confirmed. I'd imagine we are desperately seeking a replacement and the second we do, the announcement will be made.

Don’t like 3 atb. If Ricardo is playing RW then it just shows our lack of options. He’s no more a winger than Barnes is a forward or Vestergaard a CDM - or whatever other silly suggestions some people sometimes make

Last friendly before the start of the season is usually your first choice team for the opening game to make sure cohesion is there. I would say this means we're probably planning for life without Kasper, so if the rumours from France are true we're probably very close to a new keeper and Iversen will be number 2 (ward presumably pushing to leave in a WC year)

In pre season we've looked really fluid and attacking playing 4231 with the full backs inverted like Man City's and hideously ponderous playing the wretched 352. We are just clueless playing the latter. We've basically got 7 defensive players on the pitch including Ndidi and the keeper. Brendan has gone full Southgate here.
